How do you know what other people will feel after level 80? You dont know what I think.

The B2P business model is the first business model ever since pong. Of course expansions are going to cost you cash. 

At least it costs a lot less than WoW with all the expansions you have to buy and on top of that pay a monthly fee. 

So why tell us something we already should know?

why does it matter? a 12 year old can be just as good if not better than a 20 year old.

also the beauty of an MMO is anonymity.

Anet need not to worry of the pathetic Blizzard game.  I have seen WoW evolve over the years and it is very close to GW2's gameplay but it has a sub fee. 

What I am saying is IMO fools pay sub fees for a game when they can get the same thing for free from another game that has dynamic events.

you are willing to give up all you have earned in WoW for WoW2???? LOL at you.  Thats really the reason why people go back to WoW. They have so much time and money invested into WoW it becomes an obligation. 

You have only experienced GW2's story up to level 20.  The devs said that each individual's story will branch into dozens of different directions. 

GW2's storyline shouldnt be bashed because no one has even completed their storyline yet. 

Some people like the game, some don't. The people who don't like the game should move onto another game IMO. Thats what you do with any game.  You dont like it you stop playing it. 

After the BWE I too was a little hyped down a bit, but not enough to keep me from still being excited about the game.  Even with all the information ANET gave to players and the community  you would still be unprepared for what you were getting into with the first BWE. 

The overall feeling of the game was not what I expected but that is not a bad thing.  People are so used to the old formula and it can make it difficult to adapt to the atmosphere that is GW2.   IMO GW1 had better controls but then again its a different combat style.  The ease of targetting a specific mob was a high point in GW1.  I find it hard to click on a mob that I want because the cursor is hard to locate in times of combat.

These days every game is highly overrated but that is because of good PR.  PR is there for you to buy into something without thinking it through.   So GW2 may not live up to the hype in the way that you dont get that blow your mind feeling when you play because you have been so well informed.   

Diablo 2 is wayyyyyy better than Diablo 3. 

Anet said they would release in 2012. So I think their mindset/deadline  is 2012 or bust.  Will this mean we will get a finished product because of their confirmation of a 2012 release? I dont know.  

IMO they could release now and I would be happy. Online games have the advantage of patches and if a developer wanted to turn GW2 into pong they could with a single patch. 

And it should be a good game since it took so long to make.  I do miss D2 style though.

Everything in the cash shop can be bought with in-game gold.  Expansions will probably be the only thing that will bought with real life money. 

You know there are some games like WoW who charge you a monthly fee, charge you for expansions, and have a cash shop where you must buy the coolest mount or you are a square in the community.

PoE is a no brainer.  Its free, looks ok, skill system is fun, unique character customization.

D3 may have good presentation but it lacks the formula that D2 had which is what I really wanted for d3.  Skill system is rubbish, cannot make a unique char. Crafting seems fun

Torchlight 2. Have not tried it yet , didnt really like Torchlight 1 because of its dungeon design. everything looked the same with small changes in skins of environment. 

you every see black lines after reading walls of text on MMORPG?  Its funny for a while until you stub your toe on the coffee table. 

zone loading exists because it has less stress on the server. If the whole world was seamless the server would lag like crazy.

Ouch thats hurtful words. All i was saying is that B2P would have been acceptable.   If you think P2P makes a good community you are definitely wrong because  with you all saying stay the fuck out of my game.    Sounds like P2P people have so much anger. I guess its all built up from paying a fee for no reason. 

Don't developers realize that sub fees are obsolete? 

I predict Tera going F2P with p2w cash shop in 1 year. Or something close to Rift's Lite. Or warhammers thing.

If they take GW2's business model I would happily pay for it.

A sub fee is a scam, always has been.
