Sorry, Paypal won't do anything but get you a permaban. You need to read your EULA.

 

About the email - did you look at the source/header on the email? I did get one that looked legit but it was not when I looked at the source/header information.

So i played guildwars 2 maybe like. 7 hours total, did a bit of pvp thats about it. Real life takes up alot of my time now.

Anyway, I get a mail in my junkmail saying "account email changed". I try to login and no such account.

I mail support and they say "oh ok we fixed it, and change my password"

But when i try to login i get "you have been permanently banned for helping gold farmers"... how?! WTF?

So i try to login to my support account and they disable it.

I make a new support account, and send in the logs from the last ticket, and no reply. I try to login the to new support account and they disable it as well?!

So.. 3rd support account im starting to get a bit angry. I paste them all AGAIN and it's been 2 day sand im still waiting for a reply.

Anyone else running into this bullshit? Is there a way to get a refund?

I just opened my beta account and was clicking through the character creation, and my girlfriend saw the poporei and was like "oh kewl he's cute!! what is this game? I want to play too!"

So i got another beta key, and we played 4 hours straight tonight, and she's NEVER played an MMO before, i've been tryin to get her to play an MMO for 8 years. and she's having fun in TERA! lol.. we both made poporei's and are havin a blast running around bein silly.

I usually play dark elves/orcs/sith/evil type chars.. so it's fun to spice it up with a little fat fox char with a HUGE axe hahaha

I really enjoyed the combat, questing seems typical for mmos, but its atleast semi interesting with the action oriented combat.

I want this game to do good, I wana play a game like this, It's why I paid for it. But it does seriously need work. You hardcore fanbois can make up stupid excuses like "didnt contact GM for help" , or "didnt move cause you were gettin snooped", but how the hell is a newbie know to do this, the fucking help files are retarded and sound like they were writtin by some player on the forums, I read them all and it didnt even help me figure out much.
 

You shouldn't have to start playing the game in a guild/group of people to enjoy it, cause thats not always the circumstance in 90% of the people who buy the game.

It's clear as day, that the game isnt ready for release, it needs another year of polishing to be playable by the masses and not the hardcore nerds who aint got nothing better to do with their day then figure out a broke ass mmo and gank noobs then lol at them on the forums when they complain. If it's like the poster said where the creator of the game doesnt want noobs in the game then fine, it's a sinking ship, gg. Back to wurm online if you want real sandbox anyway

I bought the game a long time ago, noticed it was in open beta, so i redownloaded it,

Made a char, walked out of town with no idea how to kill anything, or gather resources, ganked.
I'm dead and the priest is like 2 miles away.

Whatever, make a new char, and im missing skills for some reason, cant rest or do anything,

makea  few new chars with random missing skills until i get one that works,

FINALLY after like 7 attempts at new characters, i got one i can play, so with some help of random players I kinda get an idea on how to play the game, and I go hunt some boars, and get the stuff , sell it and get the money

but as im tryin to deposit the money into my bank to keep it save, someone is stealingit from me adn the game is too bugged to let me drop the rest of it in the bank, i have to log in and log out just to put stuff in and out of the bank

UNPLAYABLE, Not newbie friendly, i dont care about gettin ganked, its the type of game it is, but theres a limit on just how unfriendly a game can be on a newbie before they will quit, and this is just ridiculous. I've played darkfall and been pwned in darkfall alot, but this game is pure stupid, when it comes to new player experience

It needs like another year of development and polishing.

well im still playing :), sunrunners low population got lonely so i started a guild and invited ppl i found on /who, im having a blast still cept the 1 scammer kid who stolw 250mill worth of rare items from a guild house (stupid i know, i learned my lesson with trust ) , but i sent in a ticket, the next day SOE returned our items and banned the kid! SOE is really doing well with their support nowadays

Eh, then your just not giving it a chance dude. I was the exact same way, i was so pissed when CH got nerfed, then CU happened, and then NGE.

It's pretty rude to say your burying the hachet when you aint even giving it a shot. Sure it'll never be the same, but so far i've been liking it and im a pretty picky guy

Not sure how population is there... im on sunrunner, i think its the least populated server, but i kinda wanted it that way cause theres less houses everywhere and more room for myself... and room to grow if the server gets more ppl.

I'm old skool SWG player who bought the collectors edition and played almost everyday up until the MCH Nerfs. lol.

Anyway, I just started playin again cause im gettin sick of wow, and im LOVING it, oddly, althought im doing mostly crafting, I resubbed 3 accounts to get all my old characters back.

SOE's support was really good about transferring my characters off of dead Corbantis and onto Sunrunner. They even reimbursed my levels and everything quickly.

I havent really gotten into the combat side of the game, havin so much fun crafting again!

Anyway, if anyone else is returning and lookin for a place to call home and chill and hang with another old vet, hit me up on Sunrunner, name's Phennexion Kegdraal, I got a nice little spot just outside Duaba Guerfel on Corellia right now, pretty unpopulated at the moment here which is nice, and lots of nice mineral nodes around here.

Anyone else here try Sanctum? It's an online strategy game that uses cards, and like 10+ different factions(houses), in it, its really fun, reminded me of a mix between Magic the Gathering, and a board game mixes with animated spells/monsters and whatnot.

Its a pretty old game, maybe 12+ years old? i used to play it back on dialup in 99'... but i been gettin back into it and need more ppl to play against

If anyone's bored and likes a good strategy/collectible game i really reccomend trying it out, it's free too can buy more cards if you want to get into it, but starter decks are really fun still.

I think the problem is parents need to put their kids to work more, get them out doing something completely random and pointless but have them working atleast a little bit to offset the time they were playing the mmo for.

I dunno bout most of the city kids where theres not much work around the household but man i grew up on a farm, and i still played ALOT of mmos on dialup... but my parents still made me work alot and i got a life skills from that i wouldnt have gained if i were just playing mmos instead.

While i've been loading a new level here in open beta,

I've read 3 threads and writing this one...while waiting for 1 outdoor area to load, and I have a WD Raptor X 10k RPM harddrive.. this is ridiculous! It reminds me of the old commodore 64 days when it took 10 min to load a level of Ultima off a 5.25'' FLoppy disk lol
