Not sure what is the better excuse: What do you think? We still haven´t solved the no.1 issue on this, and of course we won´t with any todays game: people hop in it, play for a week or a month, then move to the next game. What was the difference between B2p and P2P again? |

Pre-ordering s just stupid. Pre-purchasing... well, We´ll read us again. It is the same procedure as every MMO. Funny enough we have GW2 with a funny Cash shop and D3 with a funny cash shop. Both don´t need a sub fee, so why do we complain? D3 is not an MMO. |

Is it wrong that I like Rift's DEs better than GW2s DEs?
General Discussion « Rift 5/02/12 4:46:59 PM
Only played Rift til level 20, but Silverwood was really fun, when a zone event happened. I guess it only felt like this in populated zones. There was a little problem though where GW2 may suffer even more than Rift: If GW2 still doesn´t have a zone chat (remember Warhammer), then not only you have the problem mentioned above, you´ll also have the problem of Warhammer. It worked in DAoC, I know. But internet was still young there. The result would be: you log in because of instant fun, but you don´t log in because of some freshly generated bonds, guilds whatever. |

Almost 60 billion build possibilities isn't enough?
General Discussion « Diablo 3 4/24/12 4:17:43 PM
This sounds like 200 hours of unique gameplay per class |

Really? You would pay 60 bucks in advance for a game with limited levels before you pay nothing for a game with limited content currently? Then pay another 40 bucks for Diablo 3: The Burning Crusade? |

I don´t care if it is P2P or F2P cash shop, even pay2win (except of gambling and rent-an-item for x time). The box price is the biggest barrier here. |

I am wondering why Anet is already selling the game without a release date. Did NCSoft say "no more money" or did Anet have an actual release date, but then let´s say Diablo´s release date collided with GW2´s? Speculations, speculations. ;) |

I will buy GW2 regardless of the haters pleas.

What were the strong points of GW1 again? |

Earlier than Diabo 3 |

Something with hiding the progession bar would be a good idea. |

the latter /confirmed. Not sure about the first. |

It is a marketing video. Look at the top right progression bar, if you don´t know, what to do. Well, it is not a quest, it is a dynamic event. ;) |

Looks like NCsoft explained the European CE pricing
General Discussion « Guild Wars 2 3/29/12 4:15:58 PM
After you looked up the UK numbers (without any noteworthy industry left today but finances) you should look into some US numbers. Here we should stop the Nation trolling. 1€>$1.31 since a long time. |

Loke, you are here since 6 years and you suggest pre-ordering a game? Did you pre-order World of Darkness? ;) |

Is this a joke? |

Femmes and their last words *sigh* |

The shop in GW1 is called NCstore, not Arenanet-store. Mike O´Brien can talk about his philosophy and what he thinks all night long. NCsoft matters.

Just keep the things advertised as limited actually BE limited in your cash shop. I am ok with buying some "limited stuff", but don´t advertise it as such and then sell it for years to go. Because then it is scam, no matter how many people shout "ololo fluff". |

I am not sure, if trading RL currency is neccessarily bad. It depends on the community - ok, it was sh!t when GW1 released. Now you cannot buy much pay-to win items in GW since let´s say the weapon damage is limited. In DAoC it was 16.5 damage per second. So if Anet has a strict number here, too, then it won´t affect door knocking...erm WvW much. |
