General: The 2011 Players' Choice Awards

Everyone: It's not that they were wasting votes as such, just that there were multiple vote buttons and multiple polls and general confusion all around. Now there is a single button and you can pick all the options in one awesome swoop. No multipages, no reloads. |

General: Looking for shoutcasters and the biggest RTS fanboys ever!

Oh, the memories you just invoked right there.... |

Originally posted by Lobotomist These sort of comments are getting old and while I'm taking the bait, I do want to put this out there: We have a very specific staff structure setup that prevents this from happening. Bill, Suzie, Mike and all the freelancers have no idea what ads are running or which banners are going up or even coming because we purposefully keep them isolated from any and all of the business aspects of the site. Their focus is only content, playing games, talking about game. In short: they literally have no idea until you guys do. Any coincidental timing is just that. |

General: Looking for shoutcasters and the biggest RTS fanboys ever!
News Discussion « General Discussion 11/22/11 9:04:16 PM
It's just that simple: are you, or you do know someone, the biggest RTS fanboy ever? Do you breathe Protoss stats? Does knowing every Hero attribute keep you up at night? Is eSports bigger than the Stanley Cup? If yes, we NEED to talk to you. We are looking for some talented, exceptionally passionate RTS gamers to prove to us that they are the eat this stuff for breakfast, lunch and supper. That know as close to everything as is humanly possible and want the opportunity to talk with developers, attend conventions, get early access and more. Update: We have found our MOBA specialist but are still very actively on the hunt for that special Starcraft 2 follower. Email us at rtsshoutcast@gmail.com |

General: Introducing MMORPG.com User Features & Reviews
News Discussion « General Discussion 7/01/11 9:05:12 AM
It's also worth noting that we do have final approval of user reviews. Stuff that's obvious junk won't make it through. Also, if we approve something and someone goes in and edits after, the new changes don't go live until we approve them too. We want this to be a quality service. |

No :) We would have rathered nabbed fps.com or rts.com but both are very much active sites with no chance of selling to us short of the price of a small country. |

Forums are indeed coming to the mobile site soon enough! We just didn't want to hold out on what's there while the forums got built. |
