I think there is much more than a year to release of GW2, considering the usual delay of game development and the very little info so far including the absence of screenshots.

Im looking forward to Aion. I was also hoping to see SUN online this year but now i almost think that they will never release it outside Asia.
Also hoping Guild Wars 2 gets to beta in 2008 and im lucky to get in.

Subscription fee is getting more and more old school as i see it. Just look at ArchLord, Swords of the New World and RF Online. They all started with subscription fees (optional for SotNW), but now they are free to play.

Of course you can use subscription fee, if you feel you have a good product and the users/players feel they get value for money. In this case I think 9.99 euro is not worth what you get extra.

To me that trailer was kind of ordinary boring and unimpressive. Didn't see any particularly funny parts. I have seen better and more funnier trailers.

I had a vet trial 1-2 month ago and vet trial at christmas 2005. So there was more than a year between the 2 vet trials. I canceled my subscription early 2005 i think. You can always get a trial by making a new account but im not sure if you are able to get out of the tutorial area and see what goes on on the main planets.

to download and make account. When I press "Create your free 10-day account" I get new page that says file not found.

I have no trouble getting to the similar 10-day account creation screen for US account: signup.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/10dayfreetrial.htm
But i want to play with a friend on the euro servers.

Are 10-day trial account on hold for euros ?

In GW you can play everyting(except FOW and UW) with everyone around the world. E.g. a european can play with one from USA and/or Korea. That is why you can make world championship in GW.
In WoW you can not play with everyone else thats playing WoW, only those on the same realm/server.
So in that way GW is more MMORPG than WoW.

You can create and delete characters as much you like as long you got max 4 characters at any time for each CD-key.
In the hunting and fighting areas you can have a group of max 8.
In other MMORPG you can have 100+ people waiting for something to spawn and to steal the loot. That dont happen in GW.

I have played GW since april 28th 2005 and I still like the game. You get more fun of GW if you join a guild you like.

I dont like the cat people. It looks like muppet show and not a fantasy game. I dont mind cats in the game but i think it is wrong to make them look like humans
