i,m not taking about the european server..that was dead long ago..its the telon server i believe its called has way more playing..but no point arguing..its insignificent really.has long as people still play and enjoy playing i dont see what the problem is.i moved all my chars from halgar 2 yrs ago

vanguard is probably my favourite mmo..i love the crafting because it was so deep,the diplomacy,the  adventuring...there is so much to do in-game.has for the person that mentioned 400-600 players..i,m not sure where he got that figure from but way more people play the game..i have recenely resubbed for 3 months..there is no other game on the market like this game..get y/self in a good guild and get into groups and you will love the game..just give it time is all i would say.like others have said..the combat is a bit clunky but let me tell you when you have a grp and someone uses a levitate spell off a mountain and the whole group are walking on air it looks amazing..we used to use it to drop in on trengal keep

there is enough content for 1 char to last a couple of yrs easy..but i would recommend spending a few months in game on f2p to see if its for you..the game is not for everyone and you need to be patient.this is not a game where you get stuff quickly..its great that there are no instances apart from the end game raid area i believe.all dungeons in the main area are open dungeons.

Being a brit i've never understood the fsacination that America has with guns.saying that though.to link video games and violence on the streets is stupid..it really is..has usual they are looking for a scapegoat has always.they never look at the real cause of the problem..and that is years of neglect.by that i mean the politicians have let the guns in america get out of control without laws being put in place to restrict the sales.personally i think its too late.i understand you have your constitution.but its going to take a hell of a job not to just get laws through..but to also get the majority of the illegal weapons that are around everywhere off the streets..in the meantime games industry will get the blame,violence on tv will get the blame ..everything will be blamed apart from the real reason

Has pivot says..its gameforge..fekkin amateurs..they have litterally destroyed tera in europe..they have done absolutely nothing to encourage people to play this game..whats worse is that its a got great combat..even for a limp wristed loser like me..i really enjoy it.lets hope f2p helps it out..has for your ticket..dont hold your breath..make sure your payment came out..also see if you can get your card company to take the money back  as well..gl with your problem m8.

when i played vanguard i thought exactly the same thing at first.they had god knows how many starting areas because of the size of the game.someone once said to me (cant remember who) that there was enough content in vanguard to last 3 yrs on one char..wether or not that is correct i dont know.but you have 55lvls of adventuring,55lvls of diplomacy,and 55 lvls of crafting..on top of that the magnitude of dungeons,mount quests,raids et etc.but rather than being put off by this i always knew if i did an alt i would start somewhere completely new  and it was always quests i had never done before or a dungeon.and i still aint managed to do everything up to today.

i dont think eso will be anything like gw2..it will be suicide if they do that..there are enough people that have left gw2 to signal that although gw2 is a great game it lacks anysort of real depth.god knows what they have in store for us but  they better make it good ,thats for sure or the backlash will be immense.especially given that it is an Elder Scrolls game.

has much as i love vanguard i think your right..once eqnext is out i believe this game will lose its remaining fan base.the shame is that never again will we see a game of this magnitude.all those races,classes ,starter areas.man the game is just amazing.such a shame they cocked up the release otherwise this game would have been a massive success.

there is no doubt in my mind turbine have done a great job with the world  and the story..i guess some people will complain they wanted to play a creep in the real world not just pvp.but to me that would go against everything that the game stands for..for 1 the story was never told from the creep point of view so it would have to be made up..which i dont think many fans would have appreciated if they did that.

the only complaint i would make against the game is the sheer lack of interest they have in the pvp side of things.it would have been nice if they made an effort for the guys that love pvp..although i dont do pvp myself it would have brought a few more subs in if they did it right..but all in all a fantastic game that i have thouroughly enjoyed since its release.

i would really like funcom to do the same with this game has they did with TSW..i think it would make a great difference to the population.it is a brilliant game and the combat is just amazing.just dont understand why they are doing an expansion for this game..i can understand added content but they really dont have the population  to cover the costs imo..i maybe wrong and hope i am.

i woud'nt hesitate but to go back to the game..you never know they may have something planned on release of the expansion..i really hope so.because this is another funcom game that deserves a good population

Lotro is a fully pay2win game, everything ingame is on the damn store lol. Yep, this game most defenitly has terrible animation. That is what killed it for me, oh wait no it was the endless korean grind that the game had to offer.

 

I came to play and learn more about lotr lore and in response i got my time wasted leveling and grinding legendaries/trait/virtues.

i dont think you understand the concept of pay to win to be honest..i think you just heard it and tried your best to understand what it means.has i said before you cannot buy anything in the shop that you CANNOT get for FREE by playing the game.

you CANNOT get raid gear in the store .you cannot get end game gear etc without having to rebuild Hybolt either mostly or partly.and that involves questing dailies..so again i repeat..your understanding of pay to win is flawed.

p.s the bit that made me laugh the most was the comment about the korean grind in the game.i dont know of any grind in this game at all.

What do you call the Hybolt dailies? It's a grind...one that I refuse to do. Every game seems to have some sort of grind.

i,m sorry..5 quests per day and you think thats a grind..are you for real..go play vanguard or something like that..5 quests a grind..i've heard it all now.the quests take no longer than 20 mins to do per day.and they are not even the same quests..they are randomised.

Grinding could be subjective. Depending on your life style and schedule. I don't have time to grind 85 lvls with alts, people who have loads of play time will argue because they want more time killer content/leveling.

that is not grind what you say..that is character progression..different altogether.i have been playing this game on and off for 5 yrs and i can tell you there is no grind in this game at all..the traits you mention go along with your character..has long as you keep them up to date you are ok..if you decide  not to do them and wait til end game its a grind for you..but your character will be extremely weak if you dont do them.i dont play this game a lot and i have 5 chars..2xlvl 85,1x lvl 67 ,1xlvl75,1x43.thats in 5 yrs..and i take my time.i can assure you there is no grind in this game..i do agree it can feel that way if you leave them til your max lvl..but its you who create it by not lvling your char properly in the first place.
