man I hope this never happens. the reason I love vanguard so much is because it doesn't pander (nearly as much) to EVERYONE. If it was f2p, the community (whats left of it) would become the same crap as other games, which imo is one of the only reasons to play vanguard past 2-3 months.

 

i very much doubt the community would be bad.has vanguard is the only really well what i consider hard game..where you have to work for everything..your not goin to get 10yr olds playin this game.more likely to be players that have played it before and know what they are in for.and a few who want a real challenge.

i think one of the bad things that happened,if you can call it bad..lotro has got too successful for its own good..its now made for the f2p guys..i am seriously disappointed with isengard..everything is solo stuff..revamped old stuff.but has long as they are makin millions they dont give a toss about the peeps that have been there from the start.if i were not holding a lifetime sub it would have been cancelled months ago.i do hope they change the way this game ids heading..this was my favourite game..but i,m slowly losing interest.

they should go f2p on all their games..they are old and past it..one thing that really annoys me is that it's took this long for those idiots at sony to start listening to peeps.p.s vanguard f2p ftw.

i got bored with this game a week or 2 after release,but i went back a fortnight ago and i have to say its really enjoyable

would be nice or even better if it launched without a queue of 6k.then i might be able to find out if its ok or not.

nice read..not..i love lotro but very disappointed so far with isengard..its now gone from one of the best mmo's to a solo rpg...the addition of the f2p is ok..i dont mind that..atm i feel like frodo..lotro is a lonely road atm..hope it improves real soon.i will stick with it though being a lifer.

well here we are..a week since it went f2p or nearly..and i,m 5,561 in the queue on eupve server,now i dont mind being in a q but i,m curious..is there any news on if they are putting additional servers up because this is kinda stupid.all these peeps and all that possible money goin down the drain because peeps are gettin sick of waiting..anyone got any links or infor regarding this plz?

was 900th in q on eu server ,,has the number was going down i just get kicked all the time..i,m sure they will sort it..give em time..i dont think they expected so many f2p guys comin on board.last count was 120,000 it said,probably more now.

i,m absolutely gutted they never did a couple of pve servers for this game..i would have loved to have played it all the way thru..btw 3.0 looks great.

played lotro for the last 4 yrs and whatever system i've upgraded to i aint had a sniff of anything wrong..especially memory leek.i run on dx11 ...nvid560gtx 2500k proc.and nothing wrong with it at all..maybe you system cant handle it..i dont know m8 but gl in sorting it out.

since this game went f2p i have heard that a lot more peeps are playing which is great to hear.has a f2p guy i thought well i will give it a good try out before i commit ..only thing is whenever i try to play i,m in a god awful queue..just tried to log on there and i ended up being around 900th in the queue.

my question is,are they trying to sort out this problem.i have no problems about being in a queue for a short time,but 900th is a bit much...and i cant be bothered waiting.i mean are they gonna put a new pve server up..anything been mentioned?

been playing the above title for 2 days now and i have to say my hands are killing me..i have never been in so much pain playing an mmo in my life...dont know whats causing it..maybe a lot of button mashing ..just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem..i,m playing pc version btw..i,m going to go for a workout now..need to get fit for the 2-3 hrs i'll play tonight

ty m8..but my gripe is i should be able to download it from D2D seen has i,ve payed for it.

having bought the digital version of eq2 i thought i would install it again for another go,low and behold to my extreme dissapointment here is where the con starts.so i d/loaded the installer..only about 4mb or somethin like that..now bare in mind i have paid £20 for this item i find i cant download it,why you may ask..well here is why..sony want me to sub immediately to the game,which means if its a slow download i lose 1 or 2 days sub.seen has i have paid for this item i should be able to download it has much as i like..now there maybe another way to get the client downloaded(i doint know) but surely if i payed for it i should be able to fu----g download it using the installer..btw i bought it off D2D.

Is there another way to download the client or is this another one of sony's cons.

from what i,ve seen so far it's quite fun,but i,m at lower lvl atm.grouped up once or twice....not sure about how much content there is cos i,m a slow leveler..but all in all my impression is that its a good fun game.i never understand peeps rushing to max lvl .especially if they know its short on content..but thats just me and the way i play mmo's i guess.i,m also still strugling a bit with the ui..although i've seen worse.another way to putr this is that i have subbed to a lot worse games than this.i have no lag issues at all..d/load was very quick.seriously thinking of subing to game..i guess i would sub nps if there was crafting or something along those lines,but there is nothing like that.thats why i,m not quite sure yet.

i,m on the eu pve server atm and there are bucket loads of peeps playing...i do hope that people stick with it...there should be a lot more content with f2p has long as the money comes in..i,m none paying atm but i,m considering subbing,i,m not a fast lvler or brilliant player but by god i,m having a blast atm.and i aint had to pay a dime yet.
