Is this basically the rip off lotro skirmishes type system..where it can be made into groups and raids for different difficulty?

although i didnt mind the group versions in lotro for an mmo to put insolo content takes away the fact its supposed to be an mmo.

Loved the Divinity games.  Do they really need a kickstarter?

yeah really looking forward to original sin..i have all other games from larian,divinity wise that is..also a game called legends of dawn from kickstarter..isometric open world rpg..atm you can pre purchase a digital copy from their website for i think it cost me £10.72..what a bargain.not sure if project eternity is due out this year but it raised nearly $4 million on kickstarter last year.

2) I assume everything from these closed beta weekends is going to be wiped prior to the open beta release, is that correct?

3) I see they have a 5v5 hold the control points style BG, and I saw they also have some sort of "arena" does anyone know more about PvP options, specifically end-game ones?  Is there going to be any competitive combat (with teams and ratings or ladders or anything?)

4) Ran a few player made dungeons, very cool.   Do player dungeon creaters get anything out of their work besides bragging rights?   Also, I assume they can't set loot as that would be so exploited, but is loot from player dungeons better/worse than regular ones?   In other words, is there any incentive for players to run player dungeons except just to mess around?

Well i started playing yesterday evening like most and was extremely suprised at how good it was..so i made a promise to myself and logged out..played for an hour this morning and i,m done..i know enough about the game to know i'll be there at release..i finished playing just has i reached lvl 7.

The reason i refuse to play any further is that i tend to burnout easily on games and i dont want to on this one..i love the setting,combat is fine and lastly the gfx are pretty good.all in all a good experience.

i have seen enough of this game to know i am going to enjoy playing it..it may not be everyones cup of tea but it is mine..still a few things for them to iron out but otherwise really enjoying it..someone said it was an updated version of ddo..if it is then that is a good thing..got a bit of lag but thats expected in beta given the mountains of peeps playing..one thing i did notice was that all the usual trolls were there slagging the game off.why oh why people feel the need to rubbish a game they dont like is beyond me.it would be easier for them to log off..but for some reason they love to see thier name on the chat..sad people indeed.

i dont mind if its constructive but these people who say the game is shit having played 5 mins have no fuckin idea.the OP's post is well delivered and i understand his points..but it is beta.

will i invest a shitload of money on this game..well time will tell..but one thing is for sure i will be there at launch.

may iask why you posted this? i mean whats the point?..has soon as eqnext comes out most will probably move to that game.having played vanguard on and off since release i would say its turned out to be a fantastic game..albeit the combat is a bit dated.yes it has bugs..but nothing gamebreaking atm.

one thing about this game that stood out for me was the community.one of the best in any mmo.but its obvious you have some kind of beef with the game..perhaps you could elaborate on what that is after making a post like this.

tbh i,m suprised myself he game lasted this long but its now been going for 6 yrs..i guess that makes it a success in most gamers eyes..even though it aint made millions SOE  are still making money off it.

ok being an rpg fan i thought i would purchase this game.so i loaded the game up and off i went has a paladin.now i will say this game does not have the best gfx..but it makes up for it in story thats for sure.been playing 2 hrs and only reached lvl 3 because there is so much to take in.any person you speak to you get a wall of text.also picked up my first sidekick.

Now i have a question for players of this game.any advice you can give me for progressing in this game would be much appreciated.died once already..its a tough game by the looks of it.seems very unforgiving if you screw up..can anyone advise me on where to put points etc.or any general advice about this game..oh by the way on gog.com they are having a special if you buy 5 games you get 80% off the full price..inquisitor works out at about $3 with divinity 2 going for $4 i think..but you have to buy 5 games to get the discount.

Yeah usually at the end of a KS campaign 200k is done in a matter of days or even hours,what I do like is they are modeling this campaign on the SC one very open to the public and maybe to honest as they seem to have a make the game up as we go along aspect which is what Garriots mate Chris Roberts did with their campaign so might plonk a few quid down for this as well cause I like their style.

i do understand companies using a drm but most gamers hate them so it ends up hurting the company in sales..nice to see companies like cdred moving away from shit like that..although steam is needed for most of my games.

it seems i have turned full circle and gone back to all the games that originally got me into gaming..mostly the ones from gog.com apart from inquisitor

i also have a question..can you give lifetime subscriptions away..not sell ,give away...i will keep one and that is lotr.mainly because of the story.

its really strange how things work out and i would not believe i would be playing the same games 12 yrs on..i would have thought all nice gfx and games would have improved over the yrs but have not..the gfx have but for me the games are nowhere near has good..although nwn is not the best game..it was my first rpg and love the game to bits
