In fact you wouldn't get any gear out of these raids unless you completed the whole raid........BUT.........if you defeated the raid you would get a WHOLE SET OF GEAR (weapons and all). Now, here is the kicker and what would get people coming back. Each raid would offer say, 5 different sets of gear per class (doesnt have to be 5, could be say 3 but Im ballparking here), upon completeing the raid you could choose only one but would have the option to do the raid and get the other sets again in order to transmog over newer gear. Also, if you were to acquire every set you would then get a mount and achievement and title for all your efforts. But in order to get the mount, achievement and title you would have to get every set for your character. The thing is, once you defeat the raid once you would then have the option to go to the 2nd raid if you wished. Completing that raid would get you the 2nd tier of gear. (although your gear scales down to the first raid gear if you have 2nd raid gear. this keeps people from being unfairly carried in raids) This system I feel would keep a steady amount of the population in older raids without having the older raids become obselete. I mean, we could have expansions where the primary focus would be raids. I think that would be amazing. Feel free to build on this idea in the comments.

Interesting idea. There are some kinks that would need to be worked out but I'm not against it for sure.

Which is horse sh@#. The following is my conversation. (Keep in mind I have been on the phone with them twice before this. FU@#ing Nightmare.

Agent Alfred P: 1. Log into the Square Enix Account Management System (https://secure.square-enix.com/account/)
2. Select “Select Service” under “Services and Options” from the left hand menu.
3. Select “PlayOnline / FINAL FANTASY XI.”
4. Select “Options List” for the appropriate service account.
5. Locate the “PlayOnline ID Options” column and select the “Update” button located next to “Update PlayOnline Password”

After updating the password in the Square Enix account management system, please be sure to adjust the login settings within the PlayOnline Viewer to match.

Agent Alfred P: The block has to fall off after 15 minutes since the last failed attempt.

Epicent: wow, no beta pass with my ff 14 legacy status, cant get into a game when you have the right user name and password. gotta love square these days. ok, so after the 15 minutes how do i know what to put. if its giving me that message does that mean that i have the correct password?

Agent Alfred P: It's either the PlayOnline password being inputted incorrectly or the SQUARE ENIX password. Are you on Xbox 360 or PC?

Epicent: pc.

Agent Alfred P: I would do the  following.

Agent Alfred P: Wait 15 minutes. Update the PlayOnline password on the web site. Change the settings for the PlayOnline password to the one you changed and update the profile. Then log into the game using the same password you use to log into the web site.

Agent Alfred P: Keep in mind these 2 passwords are not the same thing.

Epicent: Lol. I'm A+ certified and own around 30 plus mmos. Not exactly a noob at this. This system is just atrocious. I realize it is 2 different passwords. The above is what I was just trying when I got the recent error message. Hopefully it plays out correctly in 15.

Agent Alfred P: Give that a shot and if that doesn't work, contact us back for further help. Also if it fails once, do not keep trying otherwise it will block you again

Im playing the secret world and I think its amazing but its funny you say that as I used to play AoC but quit due to lack of content in the mid levels. How is it now. It was amazing back then if it werent for the lack of content.

I heartily disagree with the decision to open up the borders at level 50. I feel that it was pandering, that it goes against the original design that attracted me to the game, and that it will undoubtedly have a negative effect on the faction pride they were seeking to foster. All for the sake of the PvE players.

However, I also don't think it necessarily destroys the potential for AvA to be great feature. It remains to be seen what the long term consequences of this decision will be.

It's great for RP's and PVE's, now we have two more fation areas to explore even though they are instanced versions. The PVP's can go there but only for PVE lol and they won't see the otrher faction.

PVE in other faction areas and our own fation area plus PVE in Cyrodiil = win for PVE's.

How is this great for pvers. How is it in the slightest way realistic that you are in someone elses nation and never see any of them. I cant even begin to state how stupid this is.
