I've having a lot of fun in the game.

Just hit level 12.  Big time themepark game with quests sending me everywhere.  

The game looks great, and the engine runs smooth.  I've had no framerate dips and i've seen up to 40+ people in the same area. 

The F.A.T.E. system is fun, but its exactly like GW2 dynamic events.

The combat is actually a lot of fun, and you can move out of the way of some attacks, so it's not 100% stationary.

It's your standard themepark game but in a final fantasy setting.  The production quality is above average.

A HUGE step above 1.0 in terms of the gameplay i've experienced thus far.

You would think they would send out invites and download links so that we can be ready to go on the 14th.

I'm really suprised that they havn't sent any emails out to 1.0 owners yet.

I can't find it right now, but in an earlier interview I remember Gaffney stating that he likes the idea of launching with a subscription model to recoup some cost, and then converting to a buy to play or free to play type model down the road.  It may have even been during the future of online gaming panel at PAX East.   This would in effect be a hybrid model.

My only concern is that if there is a cash shop from the get-go that not all items are obtainable via in game means.  I don't want to have to buy an awesome piece of furniture for my in game home with real cash.  I should be able to earn it through meeting certain criteria in the game.

I was browsing through the official wildstar site, and I saw this screenshot.

The gun the character is holding is identical to the one in the Meet the Dominion video.

Notice the name of the image is "Algoroc"

This is either the name of the race, or the name of the zone.

Stop using your mouse.

Use your number pad to move. 

place your right hand on the number pad and place your left hand on the IJKL keys.

Your right hand thumb can access the arrow keys with ease!

8=forward

2=back

4=left

6=right

0=cycle through targets

enter=select action

- = bring up the menu

arrow keys = navigate menu

IJKL = move the camera.

So for all of you people complaining about mouse lag, you don't even need to use the mouse in the first place!
