There really is NO difference.

If it is a really good theme park you could be stuck in the parking lot for hours going no-where.

On the other hand if it is a really bad sand park you could be stuck in the sand for hours going no-where

I just resubbed after being gone since the release of EQ2, it really wasn't as horrid looking or chunky as I was expecting.

At the moment I am just soloing around in the starting tutorial area mostly because there is no-one else around.

EQ1 is definatly a grouping game, first you want to group because it is the best way to grind mobs.

Secondly you want to group because when you are out of mana you have to sit and meditate so it is nice to talk to someone while sitting there.

I do have to say I hope getting a group will be easier with a new server, why not subscribe now and get a weeks worth of practice in?

I think what Av and ALL the HARDCORE people don't get is that with full loot you will never get a good sized population!

I beta tested then played for a bit and loosing 1 item would be fine and don't give me the crap about how easy it is to get armor because I guess you guys forget how it was when you started and had nothing.

I would return in a flash without full loot but I know this is never going to happen so this is 1 person's money AV will never get.

Go ahead and flame and call me a carebear, but if something makes a great game like Darkfall no fun then why would 100,000 or more people want to play.

AV would probably do better population wise, and have a less zerg mentallity community.

Oh well, maybe Archage will launch some day, lol

I was watching the youtube vid on house building, and it reminded me sooooooo much of Horizons. Horizons failed but there were so many good things about like the crafting that a lot of it shows up in other games.

I am running windows 7 and had no problem installing the game. Never got that message either :(

So below is about as logical as saying if I go to a movie and hate it I should demand a refund!

I am new to the FF world (first game) and I for 1 am having a blast. Except for some slight delay (1-2 Seconds) when using the main menu I am actually enjoying my time in this game. In EQ series I had to make a crap load of toons if I wanted to try new classes. With this game I can try everything ALL with just 1 toon. Are people really saying that waiting 1-2 seconds is a game breaker?

You can call me dumb it is ok but, how many people are playing this game right now? So we are to believe that out of that number, what ever it is; 500 may be like what .0001% of the total people playing. So by this token the game is a flop, I think the biggest problem is that the people that are enjoying the game are PLAYING not spaming forms.

Just my 2 pennies but I am still buying it on the 30th and it will be my 1st FF game.
