This is amazing. I never would think that Wizard101 would be as high ranked as that. |

You don't need any of those badges. The Savior of Wizard City badge: You get it AFTER you fight Nightshade. Master Diplomat: YOu can't do Colossus Boulevard without first having fought Nightshade. Three Streets Savior: You only have to do the main quests, and you get 3 Streets Savior after having finished EVERy quest. Open chat: Why would you need open chat? |

Originally posted by ova007 Well, something like that would be Wizard101, my favorite game.
It's a turn-based game with spells. Here's how it compares with what you want: The goal for every player is to defeat Malistaire. You go through a series of 5 worlds, and a sixth world that is part of a new storyline, not part of Malistaire storyline, to fight the person who is bringing darkness to the spiral. You fight bosses, yes. There are schools of magic. Fire, ice, storm, myth, life, death, and balance. You learn the spells from that school. You also get training points, which you can train to another school. For example, I am a fire wizard and my secondary school (the one i spend training points on) is Life. Mob is challenging in the later worlds, particularly from the third world and higher. You must pay to access places beyond the first two fighting areas of the first world. Payments can be made in $5, $10, $20, $25, $60, and you can also subscribe for access to all places, but it expires.
For reference: You start off with 400-500 health. The first mob are 65 health. then the mob get stronger. In order: 65, 95, 135, etc., and remember, you get stronger, too, up to more than 3000 health. Malistaire has 10,000 health. |

To get to the Nightside: Complete Unicorn Way main quests ending with Olde News Complete Cyclops Lane, triton Avenue, and Firecat Alley quests ending with ???, Triton report, and ??? Defeat Foulgaze Defeat Nightshade, quests The Dark of Nighthade and the Sixth School Then you should be able to enter the Nightside.
If you didn't pay and therefore aren't able to finish the Cyclops Lane and firecat alley quests, you can teleport to a friend because it is a free area. |

The most recent code is partypack, for reaching 10 million members. I don't know if it works anymore, though. I have used codes to get things like gold, a pet, and items, but they don't work anymore. If you just google "Wizard101 promotion codes" you will see a ton, but most have expired by now. Some good sources for new codes are the Wizard101 fanites, such as Wizard101 Central, DittoWizard's blog, and Valerian Nightbringer's blog. |

You can buy gift cards from the Best buy website online. I think they accept PayPal, but it will be delivered later. |

What game(s) have dungeons that NEVER end? Are infinitely deep?
LFGame « General Discussion 7/22/10 10:54:36 PM
I don't know any games like that. But I do know a game that seems like it goes on forever: In Wizard101, the Big Ben dungeon is enough to take about an hour and a half, with 15 levels. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I don't think it saves your progress, so you have to do it all at once. I also played a game (Fate) that came with my computer. I got to the second level in one day, and I think it has 60+ levels. So it would take 1-2 months to finish that one. |

Wizard 101: Wizard 101 Review
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 7/22/10 10:46:01 PM
Groups - the concept of groups don't really exist within Wizard101. Grouping is really done on an encounter-by-encounter basis. Any player can simply join a battle already in progress (except for a few specific challenge battles) by entering the battle circle (either by teleporting to a friend in an instance or just running up on a public street). This is a great approach to both solo and casual play, but it has limitations. When I want to play with my son and daughters, we basically all have to follow each other around and jump in on each other's battles. Additionally, since there aren't any real groups, there isn't an explicit group chat channel. I'd love to see groups and group chat implemented. Group creation could be limited to those paid players >= 18 (unless explicitly allowed by an adult, in which case it'd be 13+ - NEVER under 13, UNLESS IN THE SAME FAMILY ACCOUNT)
There is a channel for groups. Bernie introduces it in a tutorial tip. You just click the chat bubble with 2 smilies. |
