I think what made the issue worse is that it is your wife that got insulted. I agree with what the other guy said "an insult is an insult", that's the thing about MMO. People have the guts to say things because it's impersonal. 

On the other hand, I do not know about how Turbine investigates those type of cases. It would be bias to take sides not knowing every detail of what happened.  All I could say is, if you have the proper evidences/proof of what occurred then by all means do something about it. File a complaint. It very easy to give comments especially if you're not involved but I think everyone would act differently if their loved ones are involved. Good luck!

I can still remember my Gameshark for PS1 and Gameshark CD for PS2.

I was so into  rpg games (offline) when I was 14. My favorite was Rinoa.

youtube, IMO, is still good but what hinders it from being better are the restrictions which cuts the fun.

It is not released yet in our country. I'm really excited about it but when I've read this thread , now I don't know. Maybe I wouldn't watch it on the first day. I'll ask my friends first if it's worth watching. thanks for the heads up.

Regarding this issue, I think it depends on what game you are playing and it depends on the ethnicity and culture of the players. For example, there's a certain outdated MMO that I'm still playing right now and I think the reason why the game is still alive is because of its active online community.

i think it depends on what game you are playing. I remember a certain MMO I played before, people were arguing about this. Some players think that it is not about the level, they said that it was all about talent. But logically speaking, level gaps would really decide on who wins or not.

Such a great talent and such a big loss but I'm very grateful to the legacy he left behind. 

I respect those people who use cheat (i.e. walkthroughs, codes, etc) but the sad thing about it is that you're not really getting your money's worth. Using cheats will only shorten the time you play the game and normally when you finish a certain game, you're done with it. that's the bad thing about cheating, you'll end up with no challenge at all.  But I guess it's personal preference, it's their money anyway. 

Mine was 'Flashback: The Quest for Identity'.  That was the first cinematic platform game that I played.

Seriously though, I loved the Final Fantasy series up to FFXI. After that, nah. 12 and 13 are just horrible.

So that gives you some RPGs and an MMO. Across PC, PS1, PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS, PSP, etc.

I agree with elocke. By far, the best one in the series is Final Fantasy Tactics. It's on PS1 and PSP. Just sharing an opinion.

Very well said thafireball. It's good to see that people are still concerned with this issue. I, for one, advocates about communicative competence on the internet especially with the forums. People reading forums wouldn't always be natural born speakers of the English Language and seing grammatically incorrect words (without being corrected by other people) "may" serve as a model for other readers.
