Aye lots of issues with the game not running after the patch, or the patch failing.  I kept getting the error on patching asset 116 and the most Bioware offered any of us was, delete stuff and keep trying.  End up having to install a third party program (swtor unleashed) in order to get the game to patch correctly.  I understand bugs in game, but at this point in gaming history a functional patcher (especially for such an established company) should be a given.

and its the 2nd time that this happened

but this time is worst. last time they fix it in 12-16 hours, now is almost 2 days without a fix

i hit accept in all MMOs i played

only the SWTOR maked me to watch them, were awesome

they are the biggest, if u add all other MMOs from 1998 till now the players that hate wow are far more than u can imagine

a game with big number of subs doesnt mean that are the more MMO community, it just means that the specific game has more followers as a title

anyway 2nd life and world of tanks have far more players from wow, 2nd life years now has

1. class balance

2. vanity items all BoE

WOW is where the crybabies comes from lol - because it popularized MMO to such an extent that any little kids plays it.

 Before that, in the DAoC, SWG, UO, AO days, MMO communities are small, people don't cry much because you will be recognised, branded and ignored.

WoW changed all that with all these system in place (cross-server this, cross-server that) that makes gaming reputation in a community useless - and also the fact that they have such a large population that makes people became less significant.

 WoW is the originator of the crybaby culture.

In DUST - and probably in all MMORPGs - there seems to be several hundered players who are in the top few clans or guilds. They are the elite of the game - by a large margin - and they seem to play the game like it's a job. 

 

If there is a tournament, their clans will be the top few teams.

 If you want to join them, the expectation is that you play the game like it's a job as well.

 But how do these people find the time? What do they do for a living?

If you were on Starsider in SWG from the start you would not have noticed any difference either (unless you looked at the stats of all of them), but if you were on servers like Kauri you would notice that populations were dying.

i think the same, the red eclipse is everyday most of the time very heavy and full from the last merge till and today
