Squal'Zell	Looking for new MMORPG The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/20/06 11:43:34 AM your best bet is to stick with GuildWars IMO if you have it then you must already have a lvl 20 its easy to make there is PvP PvE story line tounaments random battles and it makes emphasis on player skill rather than on how long you have been playing. i havent touched my R/Mo in about 4-5 months and revently reinstalled the game and i had lots of fun and i still kicked royal a$$ in pvp. bad thing is that i finished the game and PvE only includes getting items and gold.
Squal'Zell	Things Not to Post The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/20/06 11:38:16 AM Pro See the way i see it its that this forum is to talk about MMO stuff. for a new commer it is alot of time to go back billions of topics just to get to the part MMO needs funding.. or wtv you say keeps comming back. Con it cycles way to much... it wont hurt a new guy from reating topic list a week maybe 2 weeks back. but we are at a point when we get the same thing at least 2 times per day Pro games keep changin, specially MMO. new ideas are coming out, new patches new bugs new new new....... people stay informed and comment on a certain topic. other topics are just for fun. like one i read 10 minutes ago " sexiest armour in MMOG" sometimes we like to have fun" Con again topics become repetition. i got to a point where i can copy paste the same comment on 3 different topics Pro the ____vs____ is actually a good idea. it help improve the games and it helps players decide what game they want to play. for instance crafting here vs there. some one might be a super crafting fan and thats what he does in all MMOG he plays. so he will look for those topics or look for comparissons to get the best MMO that has his style of crafting Con lineage 2 vs WoW... thats way to general... want a difference between the 2 games? well first of all the name is not the same. second the WoW icon on your desktop is not way cooler than the L2 desktop icon. etc.... be precise in resume MMO pub should be constructive critisism, smart questions, informationnal topics and smart opinions (its just a waste of time to say "i hate linage 2" and leave it like that... ill just answer " good for you now go away. )

The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/20/06 11:25:30 AM the Bloom and the terrain of course a corn/weat field look the same... as guild wars... i dunno but a corn field in GW should not look like a potatoe field in any other game... but its mainly the bloom effect and the terrain (same style map same floor plan) but i see more details in the houses in NW2 than in GW.

Squal'Zell	convince me Giran (General) « Lineage II 7/18/06 9:50:00 PM mmm you make it seem that its very money oriented... i am more of a guy who will make a stealthy/critical/chose your target carefully after studing it for a while and hit it where it really hurts this type of build (that ive done in every single MMO ive played) will let me get into very dangerous areas and hit the exact mob i want that will have a specific loot. hence i like to find/craft my own items for personnal use not sale. an example that comes to mind. i played swg 2 years ago (before it went bad) and i wanted some 3k buffs that only master docs could get so i took my master BH turned into a scout ranger, harvested 999 quality ingreditents at specific places at specific times and made my perfect buffs and stim packs. then i remade my char into a BH and i had stims that costs 100k for 1 heal :P P.S. i realized only then that only a master doctor could use those stims so i had to give them to a doctor giuld mate to heal me only with those. a buff back comes with 30 charges and for a full set of buffs from a random doctor for buffs that quality would go for 1 mil credits so you can make 30 mil with those packs (in those days 10 mil credits you where a filthy rich bastard that could own a whole city. (give you an estimate of the value, the largest house (guild hall) was worth 700k) so just to say i like to get/craft my own armour wep wtv.... i dont like to buy them but thx for the long thread man really helps my choice in the matter

(the newest gamer insult) The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/17/06 7:45:22 PM ok is it just me or does any one else realize there is no such word as stupider..... ive seen it a couple of times in previous posts. and for my two pennies, WoW is a MMO made for the general public, easy to use, simplistic, friendly user, full of 13 year old 1337or H4Z0R Uber. i hate the game WoW and thats my point of view, there is no challenge in gameplay. P.S. grinding to lvl 60 is not a challenge its just repetition. getting the best item in the game is not a challenge, its a camping a spawn spot, PvP well thats just... i got nothing for that one... i love pvp in any game

Squal'Zell	people stop positng threads like "whats the best mmo" The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/17/06 1:10:34 PM see i agree... posting what is the best MMO out there is preaty useless. for example: i am a fan of fantasy but my cousin is a sc-fi- fan so for him EQ would suck alot and planet side would be a better choice... but i also disagree. now after doing research and reading on MMO's out there trying a few trial and free ones. you ask their opinion on a certain game, ask questions about it... games where you cant have a 15 day trial (like citie of heroes/villains) or lineage II . just ask questions AFTER youve done reasearch this comunity is made to get you answers and constructive critisism from other gamers, who one, where also beginers. just dont ask WHAT IS THE LEETOR ROXOR MMO OUT THERE WITH DRAGOONS!!! be mature and smart and people will be more than glad to help a feller beginer and give them their own point of view on certain games.

(the newest gamer insult) The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/17/06 12:56:09 PM sometimes i wonder how many kids are using mommy's credit card? and btw what kind of parent would let a YOUNG (5-10 year old) play a p2p game that is a ridicoulous way of wasting money its understandable if the parent has an acount of their own and leds it to their kid but only the kid? i think WoW was a great idea all the 1337 uber roxor 13 year olds can go there and let the serious/casual/ mature gamers to more serious games like EVE or EQ or __________(fill in the blank with any other game than WoW) but this GBTW ... its perfectly placed perfectly makes sence... cuz no one likes those uber roxor 1337 kids P.S. i refuse to play WoW!!!
