Shroud of the Avatar just came  out, so your not to late to start. its on early access, it has solo, casual play, and some awesome crafting, one of the better ones I seen.
I love people who say game play, when I see a million posts about people complaining about Graphics!!

I hardly ever post and I been a huge fan of this game. I gave them 75 bucks to support them and to get in early, I found out that its going to early access in a month so what was the point to get into beta for a few weeks early, when we all paid a few years ago, or a year ago, or what ever.

I find that to be annoying... What was the point.? Also they did invite guilds to test, that never got to test when asked, I plan to still play, but it considers me that they seem disorganized a bit.. Delays happen thats the industry, but a few weeks? cmon, I feel like that was s lap in the face, I got over 20 people to support them and everyone of us got slapped in the face if we would of known this we could of waited..

Also the whole guild thing when they asked on twitche and then screwed people  over and invited there buddy guilds instead, I have seen other indies do this as well, I eneded upquiting the game, when some company play favorites.  Anyways, wanted to post to let the devs know what they did was wrote, and I hardly ever post about this stuff ever.

You got exclusive perks basically, not a bad deal at all considering platinum subscription will cost about that much.

your kidding right?? I run a company as an Indie, and i'm also in the industry, this is a bad practice to say your going to do something and you don't.. So your saying I can promise you  this and that for 75 bucks,. and in return I will sell the same thing, nearly, for less? yes I get items but most items that you pay for in games suck, and a lot of company try and sell for less in the future, that was annoys me..

I believe if you say hey you  supported me, I will take care of you, I see indies and AAA's company pull that shit to often, I opened my own company as I could no longer support companys who screw over there player base any longer.

If you state you are letting someone in  a year later and it happens that does not bother me if I had to wait 4 years that does not bother me.

But to let people in weeks later than pay way less pisses me off and it horrible business  practice.... So again if you want to make people happy do not let  people in weeks after that pay way less.

I wanted over a year to get in which I had no problem with... Also the whole beta thing, JC stated to me they never did any inviting after Pax, I even send him the email... That was from Josh.. I seen people get invited when our guild was suppose to, so again, DO NOT ask for help from guilds who been around for 16 years just to slap them in the face it makes you look bad!!!

We have supported all indies , but our guild WILL NOT support this game due to this fact since they seem unorganized. Mistakes happen, but learn to take notes I do..

Crowd funding is the best thing to ever happen, not only to games, but for all entrepreneurial efforts. The ability to pre-sell product is critical to establishing actual market demand, before shelling out scarce or hard to replace capital. The funds received can either free the developer from control risk, or prove to an investor that the demand is real, thereby securing the investment. Because of crowd funding, we will be seeing games come to market, that would otherwise never have been made.

If it was a manufacturer of kitchen sinks you would not feel the same way.  Stop thinking with the heart and start with the head.

You ask for an opinion, then when you dislike what someone says, you say this? This is the problem with people today they think there opinion is the only one that matters.

I for one been a gamer for over 30 years, I decided to make games, if it wasn't for places like Kickstarter indies who are not rich would of never been able to makes games that people love...

What they need to do is not allow people to develop a game unless they can show they have the experince or and an education in that field, I for one have a BA in Game Produciton and worked for AAA's I hated it because  most devs have little to no say, I always see gamers saying OMG you fing devs, when it fact we have no say or little.

When devs like myself can make a better game and have a say, we need Kickstarter.... Banks won't give loans.. I see other countrys give grants for 45k, 90k, were in the US they claim they will help, they do not I have a business now and I did it out of pocket which is scary because we could lose everything we own... But i'm stuck making Android games since I do not have millions, people like us who have good ideas you guys will never see, people who have the experince like my team, you may never see with out Kickstarter, so not everyone is bad who is using Kickstarter.

I do agree there is been to many bad companies who have cheated people which I seen from the start they were full of BS, so I always laugh at how stupid people can be, so my advise is to check out the company you are backing before you back.

When I bought my house I did not do it blind, when I hired my employeess I did not do it blind, I checked everything out, you guys need to do the same.

Thats my 2 cents  on the subject. This is coming from a gamer who went Dev...

I really wish some of you  gamers would make a game before commenting like this. You have no idea what it costs and the hard work into it...  I can write the word free and people buy it every time, I love it... Your so easily fooled how it in fact its not free, they take it out  of the game from the first build and call it a DLC and then free so they make it look good. Which is smart, see you even bought it.

I know this because I know the field and business ...

Well......after playing Rift for almost a month, my wifes account was hacked (still not sure how).  The perps charged 2 - $100 to the account, at which point Trion Worlds suspended the account.  We have since then canceled the cards and tried contacting Trion regarding the issues but have failed to get a response for more than three days now.  Believe it or not, they has no way to speak to a real persons.  Needless to say, we are done with Trion.  We just hope someone reads this, and will a little luck, may save them some pain.

Why are you trying to make such a fuss over not being able to call them when they have 24/7 chat support?

Do you think chat support isn't the same as speaking to a real person? I think thats the problem with the internet today. People act like just because they can't see a person face to face or hear a voice that the person "typing" doesnt exist or something.

The op is correct, I was a fan of Trion there support  has got bad, I had an issue which took them 3 months to resolve mainly because they would never reply for weeks on , on and have no idea what is going on.. I agree with the OP, the support has went down hill fast..  I bet its over sees some where..Because most of the time, when I ask a question or reply I get an answer that has nothing to do with what I said...

But yet you play the game...  ///rolleyes.

You are going to have to be a dedicated Garriott fan to play this game. From what I have tried, it is really bad quality both in graphics and game design.

You sound like you have no idea what a MMO should look like with graphics, being an artist it looks fine to me for a MMO....

Game Design its different so I think thats a good thing, its great for people who actually want to think a little. The only issue I see is the combat is dated it needs to be fixed, but I HEARD they plan to fix, update it. So again thats your opinion and I disagree with what  you said.. When people say stuff about graphics I normally laugh because if they did super high end, most gamers would get  upset and they would lose money, so having good but not great graphics for a MMO is smart business , anyone who plays a games for just looks, has no idea what a game really is about or should be played...

Graphics should come in the middle of development, not the top..

Sucks to be you that your missing out, I play the game with friends, explore and do strike missions and play a fun game.... Not sure what you wanted, but a lot of people actually love it. Great game for people who can't play an MMO and raid for hours, I love that they keep them short.

OP, good luck man, hope you find something else you enjoy.  I may not be that far behind you to be honest.  The longer I play the more I question why I am playing, which is never a good sign.  There are sometimes when I have fun but for the most part I find myself either leveling professions (which is a total borefest) or farming tokens in Hasla (which is also a huge borefest).

I do enjoy running GHA but sadly I am melee which means no one ever wants to take me.  I can also tank but lack the cloth gear that most groups require.

I am actually considering giving FFXIV a real go.  I know it's themepark, I know it's gear treadmill, etc but I would rather be on a gear treadmill over sitting in Windshade dumping real life $$ into a game to level professions.

Dude, I was totally thinking the same thing. I am trying out ESO again, just because I had already bought it at release.  What I have realised about myself from this game; spending real money or 12 hours a day to have fun in a game is not something I am willing to do.

Strange, i only spend real money in monthly fee and only play 3,4h a day and some days i cant even log in and i still enjoy alot the game.

Thats fair.

Games very RNG and grind intensive and I already have a job so I didnt need another.

Not trying to bash you but why do people feel the need to say your quit a game??? I never could understand this.

When I quit, I feel I don't need the attention to tell the world, I WILL tell some friends if they are playing but that's it.Just saying.

Anyways far as the whole job thing, some games are to fast, and people complain they blow through things, were other complain, they take to long. Well, most older games took months to get to max level, which I loved, because it was a challenge and there wad fun things to do.,

Now if it is hard and nothing fun then I can understand. By the way I do not play AA, I played the beta but the community was full of people that were annoying.

But anyways, I just wanted to point that out there.

The post about the psychology of too much choice is only presenting half of the equation. People demonstrate just as much aversion to lack of choice/control. There is a median, but nobody uses it. It's either no choice or too much.

Don't forget an aversion to many meaningless choices.  Most people probably wouldn't want to choose between 60 different sets of eyeballs that all look pretty similar, but a choice between 5 different sets of eyeballs, where each set is distinctive and adds a distinctive "look" to their character might be popular.  People might be OK with 60 distinctive eyeballs too, but it doesn't seem likely that a developer could come up with 60 distinctive eyeballs.

There's also some limitations in displaying all those choices.  It's a trade off.  Having more variability in character appearance means having to have more work done on the client side.  Increasing character customization lowers the ability of systems to display that customization.  If the customization extends to the character model's size or shape, then it increases the amount of work needed to create good looking animations and work within the environment of the game as well.  I don't know how many people think about this when choosing a game though.

Confused by this statement...... Animations are done by the animator, environment, is done by level designer,s world builders and environment artists.

So UI guys do UI, so how does that take away anything?? I do contract work for games, and I just do the UI, Design, program and depending on the company maybe the 2d art if its 2D.

Anyways, so that increases the work for the team sure if that's what you meant. But a lot of UI people like myself, LIKE to be creative, with limited choices we are not as creative because we are limited sure you can be creative , but your limited... I do this daily, an as I said, I hate being limited.

Now someone said they hate picking from 60 things, well that is why you can auto generate what you want, or just go past it fast enough that is the point. But when making a UI, you need to give players choices here... I feel a lot of games go one way or another.

There needs to be a way for different types of players. Normally you have people who just want to have auto picked character as they could careless. You also have those that want to spend 20  hours or more designing the character.

So that's why its good to have both styles and even some who like to pick from a few choices. So maybe having a way to pick the hair style basiced on something that is common or commonly picked.

So there are many ways to make this better, but as I said some companys do not feel UI as important as it should be..

I feel it should be one of the more important aspects, because when you have a bad UI design and HUD, that can make or break a game.

This keeps stunning me, a decade ago deep character customization was essential part of the game, and games that lacked it were criticized for not having it (even the current MMO titan met healthy amount of discussion in this regard).

Nowadays if some studio announced deep character customization options (note: skill-wise), people would abolish this idea on basis that "I don't want to ruin my character" "What if I build my character wrong?" "What if -insert any player made error here-" or the best argument of them all: "It's impossible to balance"

Firstly, I can say it has already been successfully implemented, I call this phenomenon "Shadowbane did it". The game allowed virtually endless character build options, and cookie-cutters so to speak weren't the optimal builds, but builds that were up-to-bar to compete. Essentially, that game's cookie-cutters were merely the standard templates that any fool could play with and not be hindered down by their character build choices, but the expert builders had builds that were vastly customized away from these cookie-cutters, and those were the surprising ones. But guess what; No build was above the other builds (unless you smacked a well built character against a total gimp), there just wasn't a way to create a character that "you would have to roll to compete". Could you screw up your character? Yes, absolutely, and as annoying it was you could level new character in matter of days. If we were to translate such system to a MMO of today, obviously we could just hit the "reset" button on and "respec."

And getting your character build wrong wasn't exactly easy (assuming player had the braincells to understand that a warrior who primarily benefits from STR, DEX & CON shouldn't be rolling pure INT & SPI on his character, but I'm fairly sure someone did that and took weapons with procs in them, who knows it could have actually worked in the game, that's the amusing part).

Enough of Shadowbane though, the point merely was that today's character customizations are so shallow that I find no joy in the RPG part of MMORPGs anymore. The RPG is merely "You leveled up, gain this new ability!" and gear treadmill. I haven't felt the feeling of "This is my character, there are many others, but this one is mine" in a long time. Games announce "we have this large customization options" which actually translates to few talent trees that possess such waste of slots that essentially every build is the same, and the other customization allows you to choose the color of your fireball.

Why isn't theorycrafting part of todays MMORPGs anymore? Why did it actually disappear, and what could possibly someone name as a benefit of lack of character customization? Fairness and balance? Or just appealing to less intelligent? Cause all I can think of is latter.

Being a game UI designer'Programmer, I have seen this as well, many companies feel its not as important which drives me nuts this was one reason I went  on my own.

I feel it is very  important to have a very deep character building and ways to customize your characters even more so today, I have friends who refuse to play any game that does not have it.

I went into the UI Design field for games because I feel UI sucks in most games today so that's funny how you brought this up. When I worked  for a few AAA and indies they all told me its not important today.

I disagree I feel it is, they think its ok to have cookie cutter which this is why there are less UI Designers anymore... I have a pick of the litter for jobs now a days since there are so few of us.

I love UI and try and make better ways every day, I even take current UI's in current games and make them better,I feel 90% of UI's today are crap.

The developers are seeming to curb some pretty shady marketing strategies.

I am seeing a lot of red flags here.

For starters:

Deleting ANY forum thread on steam that remotely mentions their early access game being too expensive. Or The fact that they delete any thread that draws attention to a negative point about the game should be a red flag.

In fact, I haven't seen a post last more than 10 minutes before it becomes deleted.

This is a quote from the steam LiF page:

"How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

3. Giving us a morale boost from your kind words or a kick in the pants from constructive criticism "

People saying that they know 4 or 5 people willing to pay $20 for an early access game by unknown devs, and not $40, IS constructive.

It lets you know where the market stands...which is how you factor in your business model success probability. And if direction needs to change or be altered.

Ignoring this fact is silly and shows a poor business model. Or none at all.

Metacritic has a 10/10 review by a person named "HotRise".

Go check out the life is feudal website game info section (and key features section) and notice how similar their 'selling points' are.

HotRise's review has no ACTUAL cons.

This is a typical market tactic. Look constructive and modest, yet, have no ACTUAL downside.

The developers aren't well known. And while this DOES NOT mean they shouldn't be trusted, it DOES mean to be careful.

How do we do this?

By monitoring their "First impression" practises.

What are they?:

- Overpriced $40 early-release (very unfinished) game. (When compared to Rust and DayZ both having big names behind them, lots of community trust, and a less expensive early release product))

- Lack of professionalism Re: not being able to take consumer criticism, and instead deleting any sign of it. (This is a type of propaganda)

- The Devs aren't even confident that their game will actually be successful.

"WHEN we will get to some playable MMO alpha. So far MMO tests are ceased and if we won't succeed with LiF:YO - we might will have troubles." -Bobik, Life is Feudal Developer, Steam Life is Feudal forum 19 September 2014

- The developers don't seem to have a decent grasp on marketing and sales.
And think about this.
It is a scary thought that a bunch of people who may or may not be able to create a game will pull out random figures of "we need $200,000 for making the game" without being able to tell you where the money will be spent and why.
Because hey, $200k is a nice big round figure..

A bunch of people who don't understand market trends and values and will charge twice what other more well-established companies charge for an Early Release game without understanding that as an upstart company, where there has been no established trust, that they could probably charge less and sell a lot more.

Why is this important?

To generate a larger "copies sold" statistic. Which in of itself, creates a more trusted statistic for further community backing/sponsorship/sales...and Reputation.

This game 'may' be great.

But right now, the developers seem to be a bunch of guys who haven't much idea about business.
Maybe they can design a game.
But it takes more than that to be successful.

I am having a feeling like this company is going to walk out the door with a lot of money and customer faith. As has happened with other development teams/companies in the past.

Maybe..maybe not...and as an avid gamer I very much hope I am wrong here.

>>>When a games own Developer has his doubts about the game's success...<<<

That should be a pretty big red flag.

Please don't misconstrue.

I would absolutely LOVE this game to be what everyone else wants it to be.

I would buy in a heartbeat for $100 if I knew it was fantastic and was made by a capable and trustworthy team and was a game that would occupy my time for 100's of hours.

I am not a fanboy of Rust or DayZ at all.

Simply pointing out what I am seeing in the early stages of LiF and the way they are treating the community/customers.

Lol you said Rust is trusted, after Garry himself, bashed his player base about the game months back, that was the reason I never bought RUST.

Again Dayz is going through the own issues..  So when a Dev is new, that does not mean he is not trusted, I get sick and tired of gamers saying oh I would buy if the price was less.,

You know this game is going to be way bigger than RUST, and DAYZ  put together... You get basically two games, your own server and more... So a normal MMO is 60 or more dollars. So again, 40 is about right for a game like this...

Dayz I feel is way over priced...  So DAYZ is like 50 or 60 bucks, Rust is 20 and not half the game of what LIF is going to be and is.

So doing 40 bucks, is about right for what he is selling, I see this a lot today, if the game was 20 , you would say oh it needs to be 10, I see this stuff all the time.

I have repeated this over and over, do any of you have a clue on what it costs to maintain servers and make a game, the software alone is not cheap...

I have over 10k in software, and it will take me many games to get that back... I'm a gamer who went Dev and I see both sides now and I repeat this a lot, because it gets on my nerve when people think a game is to much money.

Go cut some grass or something, get a job, because this game is cheap compared to other games like it...

Besides having an established product, hype probably sells more than anything.  When you label something in a way that's going to entice people to try it, of course it's going to generate a lot of sales.  Does Diablo 3 ring any bells?

I'm pretty sure Destiny has far fewer people still actively playing the game than originally bought it.  Hell, there was a local DJ on a radio station here that blasted Destiny as not being a good game and to save your money by getting it on Gamefly.

Moral of the story is what people like and don't like is completely subjective.  You can't always count on reviews and sales hype to determine what's considered a good game.  From a business perspective, yes, Destiny is successful.  Diablo 3 had the same level of success (best all time selling non-MMORPG PC game I believe) and yet it was decided by a majority of people that it was a terrible game at its original launch.

I feel some of  you try to find any way to bash a game, every game that releases I read stuff like this... If you dislike it, why not move on??

I mean when I dislike a game, I do not get into pissing matches over a game I hate or dislike, I just move on.. You can't change how people feel about a game nor should you. Everyone likes what they like.

This has always confused me why people do this other than to be jerks..... So if you dislike Destiny why don't people just move on?

There are plenty of us who like it and are having a blast. So again, I don't like AA, and I don't go to there forum to  piss and moan, oh I forgot I'm not immature. ANyways

/rolls eyes.

Why does the writers continue to try and piss on MMO's... You havea a right to your opinion just like I do...The game is fun, and very active player base.  This type of MMO fits some of us who have a lifes play style since I can jump in and do a strike and get done in 20 mins or less.  PC MMO's they is less likely to happen.

My point is the game will only get better and I think the reviews are correct in saying the game is fun. Everyone has an opinion to what is fun or not.

I for one feel most games like MMO's are ruined by the players more then the devs, and I should know I been a gamer and a dev, and I see both sides.. Sure companys make mistakes, that goes with out saying but MMO's people are becoming anti social and do not want to do the group stuff, the reason MMO's did well back in the 1990's and 2000, was because of the social aspects and how fun the mechanics were, the issue today some gamers would not be able to handle those mechanics because they need there hand held to damn much.

Look AT TSW they tried and some of today gamers are like OMG I hAVE TO think.

Wait until some play Shroud of the Avatar, they will have a heart attack over the crafting since its not hand holding, my point is today we have to many different type of people and there own opinion is very broad compared to what it once was.

Destiny is a fun game, and I already bought  all of the expansions.  PC MMO's I hardly play anymore due to reasons said.

First I like to say, lets keep this civil, anyone who trolls, I will ignore you.

I have been gamer who turned dev,  I was like some, and thought some games may not be worth the price, but I paid it anyways, because I wanted to play it.  Now a days even more so, I see people saying a game is to much when its 20 bucks or 40 bucks. I also see people say they a game for free.  They see  a game free it better be free.  There is no real good game that is free... They need to make money to stay in business . I have been on this forum for to long.  I have seen a comment trend of comments here about this very subject about the cost of a game.

Let me begin. I have a game company now.. Just last week, for one employee I needed to buy a program that cost over $3500 bucks.  I also have to buy all of this for myself. That is one piece of software. I'm making games that are free for real, I make money off advertisement. Which is not much, but I have to do this to make a name. I will never get my money for years. This holds true to a lot of company's. This will only last a short time  until your maxed out and done for unless you have a lot of capitol or ways to find publishers to help you. The  issue with a publisher, you have to listen to them and  release when they say so, bugs or not. This is why some indies have it made at times because they can make the game they want. The issue with indies a lot have to depend on there own money or Kickstarter or both.  What ruins Kickstarter are they wannabe companys we all have seen to much of those right, which upset me greatly. Because it ruins it for legit people.

Now I have worked for many companys and been in the business a long time. I for one have made a company and starting small by making Android games, the reason I'm going this is to build a strong company to be able to make bigger games and make the money with out needing a publisher and KickStarter.   I have the experience and so does my team. So I just wish people would understand the cost to really making a game from indie to AAA.  The price of software is not cheap and to pay people, they need to pay a nice salary or we would walk. I was making  100k a year.  If I did not I would of never worked on any of the games I have as a programmer ever... The old saying goes you get what you paid for.

Anyways, I just want to hear from other games or developers about understanding the cost of games, and why so many think that games should be free or really cheap.. When the fact is a company needs to be paid for there work.

I have right now over 50k in software. for just myself. Have I made it all back not even close I lost money.. so far..

Well since AA was ultrauberoverhyped i decided to try, i quit after 4 days and here is why:

1. Combat feels more or less like any other mmo out there, so nothing special about that.

2. Crafting is....well you really need to subscribe for LP so i did not like the fact i was forced to pay real money to have LP and craft.

3. Community that toxic....i honestly never saw that in any other mmo and i played tons of them.

4. Open world? I can do what ever i want? Like what? Jump off the cliff? or run thru the woods O.o

Basically there is nothing new that AA has to offer.....we have housing in LOTRO and Wildstar and few other games, if you want tab targeting combat then better play WoW, leveling thru crafting we have in GW2 and not sure how many other mmos.....

Only thing i really like was the character models.....overall graphics are not that impressive for 2014....

Crafting in GW2 is joke. IThey are not even in the same league. LOTRO housing is terrible. I mean it's the worst housing I have ever experienced in an MMO.

Crafting and farming is the interesting part of the game. I am sorry this is going to sound blunt but  I don't take the opinion of people who played the game f2p seriously. You just don't play Archeage without a sub imo. As f2p, this game sucks bad. With a sub it's much more fun.

Archeage is great because:

- it allows you to level up all classes on character

- has 21 crafting professions and the whole economy and gearing up process is centered around crafting

- Has farming

- Has naval combat and freaking ships

- Open world housing

YOu mention this game has that and that game has that. But is there a game which offers all of the above? I want to have farming, crafting, naval combat and ships. GW2, LOTRO, Wildstar and WoW don't offer this. I like how the examples you gave for the different features are probably the worst examples. LOTRO housig, GW2 crafting are horrible. Wildstar is the most boring and generic cookie cutter MMO ever. No wonder everyone quit after a month lol.

There are indie games that offer stuff like this Darkfall.. Which a lot of gamers cant handle the full loot, which blows my mind, why people are attached to pixels.

From the biggest reason I quit to the least:

1) It's P2W, it really is. If I'm looking for a F2P game, it better be F2P.

2) Questing/PvE there's a lot better, more fun question & PvE elsewhere.

3) Weird UI, kind of like GW2s.

4) Animations are a bit odd, combat/movement/mounting feels clunky.

5) The community is horrible, even if you check some of the forum posts here, it's just not that great.

I could add some more but they aren't that important, those three are the main reason I uninstalled this game.

So you don't expect a company to get paid??? So you expect them to work for free????  You work for free, then come back and expect us Devs to work for freee, I don't get gamers like this..

That's fine  if you dislike AA or any other games but this blows my mind... GAMERS who expect us DEVS to not get paid for our hard work!!!!!

By this comment, either A super young or your parents hand you everything and do not work.. I can tell by that comment.

Also being a gamer/developer

Weird UI, odd animations make zero sense, actually explain, why they are weird... and odd.... This is why games aren't doing well, comments like this.. Also to many gamers are about the whole me, me attitude.

By the way I do not play AA  anymore, but these comments blow my mind.

I'm very interested in this game but if my server doesn't have any bears to farm and craft stuff then there's no way I'm playing, because I won't be interested in doing that shit myself.

I simply can't handle mining in EVE, but I understand that someone has to do it or there won't be any spaceship explosions, so I always help out my bear buddies when they need it. I scout them when they're hauling ore or crafted items from one place to another. I fleet up with them so I can go and kill rats hassling their mining ships when i'm plexing nearby. I sit in help and have spent hours teaching newer players how to 'win' if they've been wardec'd in highsec. Care bears make the universe work and I'm certainly not the only one who understands this and helps them out.

If you see a pvp game as you against a slavering horde of assholes intent on taking your shit then you're simply doing it wrong. Games like these don't just encourage the social interactions that make this genre worth playing, they require it. So make some friends and trivialize the dangers, that's it.

Also, if you think you can take a game with a focus on player crafting and item loss through conflict and just port it over to a pve rule set, you're not really thinking it through.

well said!

On the normal servers there is no item loss....not sure what you are talking about.

If all you want to do is kill other players all day, than why are you playing an MMORPG?  What the hell does someone wanna be your bitch for?  I certainly wouldnt.  I like ALL PVE content...I don't just wanna sit in a tent and make stuff for the twitch thanks.  Go back to CoD where you dont have to build anything or hire more bitches.

No clue what some of you  are talking about, but no idea why some of you come to these games and want PVE, you have million of these games.... The people who love a good sandbox, have very limited good ones, so if you make it PVE only, the game is ruined..

What PVP encourages is to play with others, I have stopped playing MMO's because most of you guys want this PVE so you can solo, it blows my mine how many people today are anti social... This ruins MMO's....   Most of you will play a game for 30 days and leave, I have been playing MMO's since UO and Asheron call... I like PVP servers and people think it is about ganking, guess what find a guild that ganks the gankers, we have had a guild now for over 16 years that  ganks the gankers. We protect those people, and a great way to build friendship and help...

The issue is though to many want to solo, in an MMO , which again make no sense to play a MMO solo... None... I mean you can shave some solo play but most MMO's today you can solo it all.. or most of it.. Boring as hell!1!!! No interaction  =  lose players....

PVP is not that big of a deal and most  of these games also have great crafting.. If you want easy mode, there are so many games please stop trying to get these games  to change to PVE, it would ruin it period!!!
