ah but in some countries like france you cant do many things to pimp your . .for example i belive all engine mods are banned haha..

anyway like most debates i suppose we could go on for ever..

at the end of the day if the game allows them.. then all well and good.. if they dont then well you cant use them hehe

but its against the rules..

if it wernt then yeah sure its their own fault for not taking the drugs or whatever..

if the game rules state no mods UI or whatever... then using UI mods would be against the ruels.. so they would be cheating..

Now if the game states UI mods can be used then they should point people to the UI mods that are available.

as for the person who said its available for everyone to downlaod and use..

in sports drugs are there for everyone to use .. so your saying its ok for say footbal players to take performance drugs ?

Shadowbane has a good PVP system.. the graphics are really dated and it does ont run too well.. tho its free

DAOC has got to be one of the best pvp games out there... tho its getting on and you have to pay..

UO is also a very good pvp game still getting on a bit tho they have just revamped the engine..

when thinknig pvp wow does not even come to mind.. the pvp is very generic and nothing stands out from other games.. WOW is geared towards PVE.

I think it might be a good tihng.. less kids playing..

I really want to try UO out with the new graphics I think it will breath a bit of fresh air into it..

The only problem is i really dont want to commit to another game as i am looking forward to AOC, War and pirates..

I have been told that UO is not as fun as it used to be..

maybe i should give the trial a go and see what i think

I think UI mods that add extra tool bars are cheating, it makes the gaems easier to play..

You have a tool bar, you can only fit a certain amount of skills/spells/healing potions on them.. so you go and add another tool bar. oh wait now you can fit the rest of your spells/skills on the screen where as the average person using standard UI does not have this so has to click shift F1 to get to the next tool bar or whatever..

sure they are great and i have used UI mods before but really thinknig about it... its cheating

as for someone wanting a tribes mmo... go get the engine they used..

Im ight start playing.. i did trial the game a while back but could not get past the C64 graphics, tho I hered they have improved it a few years back. .so i might take a look again..

yeah its great having to justify buying stuff to your other half..

but yeah back on topic i would deffo think about getting a new G Card by the sonuds of it your still running AGP so you can get yaself a 7800 or somthing along those lines.. if you can still find them.. but your system is getting on a bit if it is AGP you might want to think about saving up for a brand new PC.. your current setup will run WAR i would have thought but not on very high settings..

Even with all the bullsh*t i think tis game is the best out there at the moment.. i have played many many others and nothing comes close to the fun i had in EQ2...

im hoping Conan, WAR, or pirates will bring somthing new tho... I have played EQ2 enough now tho I may get the next expansion :) but I cant see anything else coming out that will be better than it other than the ones i mentioned... I am currently beta testing a few games.. wont mention what ones tho.. sadly not conan, pirates or war tho hehe but they are just the same old same old..

Not really gamesworkshop released pc games back in the very early 90s with spacehulk.. and had turn based games based on epic and 40k around 97 i belive...

starcraft was released in 98.

ok so warcraft was released in 94 in the stats and 95 in the EU... but wait there gamesworkshop also had a game out then..

I dun o what all the fuss is about.. i have played with gamers in the US since i started playing onlie games.. i dont have anything against them..

yeah sure there are a few piss takes gonig round.. like yeah the majority of the US dont even know where england is stuff like that lol..

its good to get away from all that..

EQ2 is one of the best looking and most fun mmorpg games out there.. takes a bit of time to get to the high lvls but its not that much of a time sync..

Now i only beta tested LoTR now it was not a bad game at all and pulled off everything really well from the start but it had nothing really new.. not many races or classes...

My advice trial them both and see what you like the best..

you see people liek different things.. and you might not like either of these games.. yes in my opinion EQ2 is the best.. but im sure other will like LoTR..
