you forgot the PC exclusives that are just generally beyond the consoles ability to support, and have cutting edge graphics, but that would be an inconvenient truth, lot of that going around at the moment, must be the weather.

 

and for inconvenient truths, how about the one where the future of console gaming is dependant on the next generation of consoles succeeding, and Microsoft already dropped the ball on that one, maybe Sony can save the consoles, but regardless of what happens, PC gaming will continue regardless, funny how that works out isnt it

Count me in as excited and I would be more then happy to pay a sub for a high quality virtual world sandbox.

Take some of EQ, mix it with a bit of SWG, add in some VG with a sprinkle of PS2 and don't forget the secret sauce. Whether you love em or hate em, SOE has the money and experience to make a great game.

I tried the beta out for the limited time I had to spare over the weekend. What a night and day difference from ver.1 and  it seems worth a second try for me. One of the chief things that really bothered me about ver. 1 was the absolutely awful paste and copy world. I didn't really get a chance to explore much outside of town, has this improved dramatically? as its a total immersion killer for me.

Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, even if it was $1.

When I look at the direction they have gone with WoW since release, I really don't think Titan will have anything to offer me. By the time it will be ready for release they will have to market towards a completely new generation to whom Facebook and social networking will be old school.

All these gaming companies have got filthy stinking rich by doing business the way they used to. Now billions and billions ain't good enough for them any more, and they want more money and more of your money.

Places like Gamespot are a joke as well... charging $5 less for a used game compared to a new one. When ever I've bought games from them and they told me I could save $5 on used, I just laughed at em and told em they'd have to do a lot better then that.

If I buy the disc from a store, I use that disc in my machine, I can give that disc to my son and he can play it on his 360 in his room. We both can't play at the same time, but the disc is the key to playing. I can go round to your house and give you that disc and you can play on that game as well.

What we're doing with the digital permissions that we have for Xbox One is no different to that. If I am playing on that disc, which is installed to the hard drive on my Xbox One, everybody in my household who has permission to use my Xbox One can use that piece of content. [So] I can give that piece of content to my son and he can play it on the same system.

Why browse, Skype or Facebook on your PC, Tablet etc. for free when you can pay M$ monthly to do the same thing. Cant lend or sell the used games you legally purchased unless you pay a fee? Next thing you know General Motor's will want a fee if I buy a used car.
