Quest nodes killed the exploration star
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/31/11 9:22:45 PM
SW:ToR is also encouraging exploring, not just GW2 and SW:ToR is encouraging it more so then GW2 from what I've read. Permenant stat bonuses on the holocrons hidden around all the worlds, seems like a good reason to explore to me. |

Did people honestly forget about playable races being ONLY humanoid?

Originally posted by vesavius You wouldn't like SW:ToR unless they made it SWG2, everyone knows you don't like it, we've seen you say it countless times now. We get the point. You think games that release with "vision" but having every part of the game destroyed by bugs are better then ones that will release actually polished and finished, that's quite funny. :) |

Originally posted by Bainrow You pick and choose your own stats, you have 2 different kind of levels. Your class rank and your physical level. Your class rank is your fishing/lancer etc. While your physical level is your stats. The higher your physical the more stats you have, and you choose what stat to put it in. For example, when you hit level 2, you get 6 stat points. You can put those into whatever stat you want, you could go all strength or all dec, or split between your stats. Your stats do not go up passively, how you build your character is up to you :) Your class rank is different for each weapon. When you switch weapons you will switch from DoW to DoL to DoH. edited for more info |

Swtor's world pvp ... what is that nasty Bioware hiding from us, my precious?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/28/11 12:29:03 PM
Originally posted by vesavius You obviously have read nothing about that game, they know PvP is a huge part of the game and have said so countless times and space combat is only an after thought for now, they have said again that if the demand is great enough for it, they will upgrade and make it a real space SIM. Quit hating on SW:ToR becuase it isn't SWG2, it's getting real old. |

I don't think there is any reason to worry, bioware is one of the smartest developers out there, they know that PvP will be a huge part of the game, so I don't see any reason they'd leave it out. Besides, huge scale PvP(wars) is all part of the lore/story of the star wars universe and what is bioware best at? d: So honestly, I know bioware will come through when it comes to PvP and it will be something grand indeed. |

Originally posted by MisterSr Yeah it is, don't know what he was talking about, no way it's easy? O.o guess someone never tried it out eh? But seriously, FF14 has become 100x better then release, I know that still might not equal much, but with what's planned for the next few patches, FF14 is going to be in good shape real soon. |
