I would agree that is was waaaay to easy.

Eve online combat is easy but you need to LEARN ALOT of things to make it easy.

Vangaurd combat is easy but you have to LEARN your class before its easy.

SWTOR is just plain easy. I just randomly did my class tree without any research and i rofl stomped everything even bosses, with the exception of the last boss fight which i died once. So from level 1-50 i had to learn A SINGLE FIGHT before i could beat it.

Unacceptable to me.

What kind of a gem of a reply do we have here? A straight-faced post that declares a 4 hour block of reserved time, twice a week, has little to no impact on someone's life/social life.

It's like.. an innocent masterpiece that highlights the contrasting realities between all kinds of players. A genuine confusion from the perspective of one side of the coin, wondering how such a seemingly simple thing could be a detriment to one's social life. The "simplicity" of 4 hours in one night, doing it twice in a week, like shaking salt and pepper on your evening meal, with no concept fathomed that another person can't turn their responsibilities off for 4 hour chunks without destroying their entire lives.

 

A 4 hour block of time suddenly becomes "litte to no impact on one's social life" vs the destruction of one's actual life, when looked at from both sides. The beauty of this reply is the poster's authenticity in being unaware of the other possibilities. Whether this ignorance is due to inexperience or young age or just an adopted social position over the years is not important, nor whether the view is right or wrong. I propose that the knowledge that was shared here about a human being's capacity to only relate to what they know, is priceless.

there is a HUGE difference between browsing and chatting on these forums during my lunch break at work and SPENDING 4 HOURS STRAIGHT on a game. I have things to do...you know dishes, laundry, fixing car, making dinner etc etc. I dont have my mommy to do that for me when im raiding for 4 HOURS STRAIGHT.

Im playing one right now. Vangaurd. And loving It!

I actually would never play a game where there was forced pvp everywhere.

EVe online has a huge safe area where i can take a breadth between wormhole exploration :D

MMO's COULD be made to keep people for many years i.e EVE online

However companies are choosing to just shoot out clone after clone after clone after clone until the market is saturated with 100's of shallow boring games.

The SOE F2P model is horrible and i cant believe people are actually getting suckered in.

O well my money is safe :)

When i always feel the need to raid I usually only make it a week or so before i quit. Not because it is hard but because of the horribel grind and time it takes to do it.

Make a game that has very hard group based pve without a horrible stupid level and gear grind to do that content.

It seems that the new trend is to make easier versions of the instants. I m sorry but i want my raids hard I just dont want to spend the time grinding and waiting.

I am playing SWTOR right now because i got a week free. Still seems like the same boring bland game i played for 2 weeks at launch. BW has not inticed me to come back.

I pre-purchased because I am a giant GW2 fanboi that sits at my computer all day with a wad of money in my hand screaming at my screen "ARENA-NET TAKE MY MONEY GOD DAMMIT"

While maybe an over exagerattion Arena-net would have to do a lot to lose my faith in them.....probably just as much as Bioware has done over the last couple of years.

Its okay to say that you liked the ending if you dont care about consistency and logic in your videogames. But anyone who takes there games a little to seriously (me) this ending was a huge let down.

I agree that a lot of the geared 55's can be a real downer. And certainly have a stick up there ass. But there are high levels that just want to kill, have fun and shoot the shit. You just need to look and ignore the "Raiding" guilds.

I love this game. EVE and Vangaurd are the only games I revisit. Every other MMO is so shallow i cant bring myself to play past a month. I am back in VG and loving it. While i have no idea about population stuff there seems to be at least an increase in the number of guilds.

Hard to get hyped because of cryptic....but Bill Roper is gone so hopefully they are a better company.

When i started EVE online i was working nightshift security where i was so bored i needed something to do. So I leanred every aspect of EVE online without even playing it. Then when i started to play it...it was easy.

So yeah I would not be playign EVE today if it wasnt for my night shift job

EA is an awful company....but in the whole scheme of things they should not have made it out of teh first round.

After Hellgate London I will not touch a life time sub with a 100 foot pole......and i didnt even buy one!

I play EVE and i have never "ganked" anyone. But people who get butt hurt because there CHARACTER was killed in a game and call it cyber bullying need to play a different game or more importantly stop taking games so seriously.

I mean calling ganking cyber bullying really undermines the term that is actually very serious. 

FACT - The Mitanni was cyber bullied. He (AS IN A REAL LIFE PERSON) has gotten death threats and people have threatened to kill his dog. THIS IS SERIOUS

NO ONE is saying anything about ganking, most peoples problem has to stem from this douchebag coming on "stage" at a party and telling others to try and get someone to commit suicide. FACT

 

like someone else said if mittani killed the guy over and over and over and the guy killed himself i would be totally on the EVE players side, saying if you can't take the ganking you shouldn't be playing on a FFA PVP game. however when Mittani came out at the convention and told people this guys ingame name and said they might be able to get him to commit suicide ... thats what i have a problem with.
