Do 2 evga 8800 gts  640 mb cards (SLI)  beat to 8800 GT 512mb cards? (SLI)

You know what makes me laugh about this whole thing is that Darkfall did the same thing with the haters.

I swore to myself since the begining of the games inception I wouldnt buy it. After tons of flame hating threads I went and bought it for myself. I know Im not alone in this.

All this does is help the company make more money. Which is cool to me cause I like the game.

The ragdoll physics are laughable

The combat system is too clunky and due to the lag in some areas its impossible to aim at anything

The NPC voices are as above - laughable

The Sandworms crack me up the most - they move at like 100 MPH lol

All in all a tacky, low budget MMO that looks dreaful

sorry but i wont be playing this one ever again

Can I have your stuff?

psymon15 probably with another account...

1st post again.... What a meat..

I think he has a double account  and wanted to play devils advocate.

And you created an account with this as your first post to say this?

can you say loser troll?

Oh, and your written skills are terrible.

Went back to that game 3 times. Each time I liked it more than the last. Found my self quitting everytime. Dont know why, but it just eventually wasnt keeping me intrigued.

Now  I dont know what floats your boat, but the game FALLEN EARTH is floating mine.

To the OP Your a moron. MMORPG is multiple people engaging in an online game game in a persistant which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously.

Leaves nothing in stone that it is group oriented at all times.

maybe they will send you one later. when i subscribed i unfortunately did not receive that offer or was to dumb to notice.

sorry pal, there are none. Youll have to buy the game.

Yea was just gonna try to start downloading it it get a head start. Im going to call the other gamestops near and with a stroke of luck the online inventory is wrong, and they have them there at the store. They open at 12:00which an  jhour away.  If they dont then Ill call my friend and give it a go. If I like it Ill just get the cd key online and Im good to go.

Is the stress test client or open beta client the same thing as the retail. May want to try to download it and use a friends account on the other side of the US :)

I live in Northwest arkansas, and I do live out in the country, while we have 2 best buys, and a few games stops all withing a 20 -30 min drive isnt bad, they still dont stock it. I can drive 92 miles to Olkahoma, but I prefer not to. I guess as someone posted, the trade off of country, might be worth it.

Want to play this but the closest place to buy it is 92 miles away. Digital download stink to me cause I like to hold the merchandise in my hand. I like to collect the box and game.  Guess Ill have to wait a few months till it arrives, but by that time I probably wont be interested. You think game companies lose customers  due to lack of access?

The vast majority of gamers do not find having your entire inventory looted by a playerkiller of which you had no chance against the in first place an entertaining, nor is losing many hours of progress trying to get to your body in Everquest. That's not depth, thats punishing gameplay that doesn't add anything to the entertain value of the game whatsoever.

quoted in yellow.--------- Why do people like it so much and always make posts about missing it? Obviously there is something there.

Usually the only people who miss it are the gankers who are doing it in the first place.  They want your stuff.  The people who actually get ganked aren't so hot on the idea.

and what do you base that on?

It's been 10 years since the release of Ultima: Online, back in good old 2009 we would have thought that by now games would be on such a level classics like Ultima, Asherons Call, and Everquest, would pale in comparison. However it is now 2009, and most gamers who have played MMO's for any period of time would agree that nothing on the market today can even live up to these original releases.

Nostalgia aside, when critically examining these games, it appears as though with each new release the games are being dumbed down; It reminds me alot of the Mike Judge movie: Idiocracy where overtime people became dumber and dumber as technology allowed them more and more luxeries.

What I have been wondering is why no games with depth and challenge have been introduced to the market since 2003; The closest we have come is darkfall (don't get me started on that tangent) and in many ways I don't even feel as though, it has lived up to it's potential.

Am I the only one who feels like this? Is that why there are no more deep challenging games on the market? What do you guys think?

Actually I think most players will agree that not only do mmorpgs released after those games lived up to those games: They exceeded them.

It's not that games are getting dumbed down, it's that needlessly complications that arised in those games have been removed.

Also it's silly to point towards Aion and call it a grind after you called Everquest a classic. Everquest defined grinding.

To beat the prpblems I guess, the nature of MMOs will have to change.   And one option available is to simply make your experience so much fun that no one feels the need to "cheat" the grind in the first place. To be honest, I think instead of real-world trading, games have to be designed in a way that they provide enough fun while you are getting somewhere; if they are incapable  of providing you with enough fun while you collect that 1000 gold for a steed, then the game is not good enough.

bottom line for me is every game i have bought gold in........i wound up cancelling within a few months. It killed the nostalgia. Played EQ for years, then gold buying came around. I bought some and quit a few months after 4 years of playing.

I bet subs would be a lot higher these days if all gold marketers vanished. My lesson learned.

Im a bit confused. does the trial consist of Shadows of Odyssy?

And does that expansion have new starting areas? I mean can I make a new character on the shadow of odyssy expansion?

thanks
