I've played all kinds of MMOs from way back when they first started comming out, games like Ultma (their very first MMO version), DAOC (best PVP ever . ) SWG (sad they messed with it) , even tainted my hands with WOW.  Not to bash WOW, but it was a bit to cartoonie and simple for my taste, played it for a few years but it never grabbed my like DAOC had.  Personally I am waiting for SWTOR, if you want to start new you can play WOW and play catch up to everyone or wait till SWTOR is realease and start fresh with everyone else.  In MMOs you are never 'to late', unless they are getting read to pull the server, just like in real life, there is always someone out there that can kick your ass no matter how powerful you become :)

This confirms nothing, you have no clue as to how the game is going to be at launch.  It is still in beta testing and they haven't even uploaded anything Klingon yet.  The dev's have already said after launch they will be adding more, possibly a Klingon tutorial.  As of right now you have to go through the Federation tutorial then you can become a Klingon.  The Dev's have also said there are many ways to level, not just pvp,  I'm sure the Klingon High Command will need missions taken care of.  Stop jumping to conclusions about a game that is months away from release, if you don't like it don't play it.  As for me, from the tastes I've gotten, I'm going back for seconds and thirds.

Any other pre- order outhtere for Star Trek Online?  They did this with Conan, every place gave difffrent stuff.  I want the best item instead of jumping in and getting the first pre-order I find.

I played DAoC from release up until people dropped off the servers and now have played War since release.  War's RvR is the best!!  No other mmo out there even comes close to touching it.  WoW and AoC suck, I played those at release and some expansions packs on WoW.  Don't listen to these 12 year old idiots who think after playing WoW that they know something, (WoW is not what a real mmo is all about , its made for the masses, not real mmo players).  War works great for solo play (mostly what I do) and even better for group play.  The ORvR they added is great, nice to get rewards for killing people while I wait for a RvR scenario to open up.  All in all, if your worried about $50, wait a year, then they will have a demo out most likely.  Or, take a chance and get it, you might find that its between the best or worst game you ever played :P.

Anyone know where the Herald is located at in Altdorf, I've waisted about an hour looking in all the wrong places.

I didn't play the beta, but My pc is speced at 3.7 dual core, 2.0 gig ram, Nvidia 8800 512 OC and I rarely get lag, but I have a very good broadband connection.  As for the solo play, I only group for RVR and Pub Quest, I love this game, solo play is awsome.  I played DAoC since the release and loved it, this feals just like it, only better.

I've looked and looked, can't seem to find anywhere about crafting in this game besides the basics.  How many Primary crafting professions can you have (just 1?), how many secondary?  I know you can just talk to a crafting npc and get a new craft, but you loose what you had before and start over.  Is it just 1 main craft and 1 secondary resource craft?  Or can I get more secondary?

I can honestly say I have not grouped since DAoC.  Guilds and Alliances, I really miss this game..but after you have a lv 50 Everything its not as much fun.  My Necro/Bot combo could eat anything, but I miss ganking with my Inflitrator in DF more than anything.  There has been nothing to compaire with stealther grouped/solo ganking in Darkness Falls

I was greatly disappointed with this game, I played the beta, bought the CE version and what a waist of money it was.  Yes there are some good things about the game, but its too much of  the same thing over and over.  Sorry to say I canceled my account and will not be going back.  All the classes are almost the same, a magic user and a tank shouldn't be so alike.  Blood and titties don't make up for a crappy game.

Beta's working great for me, just that the load time on screens is very long..I have a brand new pc, very high end.  Everything runs smoothly except the load screens.

Starquest Online, are you joking.. have you seen the graphics??  I really hope that's not a game you have to pay to play.  There is nothing that could compaire to a true star trek online game, sorry.. that game's not even close.  As for me, theres Age of Conan till Stargate Worlds comes out.. then hopefully who ever is sitting on their collective asses instead of getting this game out will have gotten STO rolling again.

How do I get blood essence?
There are three ways you can get blood essence:
Mobs drop it.
Buy from other players.
When your blood points reach 999, you will get a blood essence.

What is blood essence for?
Blood Essence is used for refinement. You use blood essence, to trade for level 3 or higher refinement materials. You trade blood essence with the blood essence trader in Hefei.
