Fallen earth is the top mmo in the rank... anyone tried this game?

Oh, I don't think you can lump all F2P games into one "low quality" bucket. Some are good and some are not so good. IMO, games like Darkfall, AoC, and Fallen Earth belong far below a game like DDO on the quality ladder. The only thing AoC has going for it is that its visually beautiful (except for character models, which are LOTRO fugly).

I agree that there are more F2P games on the lower end of the list than P2P games, but making blanket statements about a certain type of game makes one sound intolerant, somewhat fanatical, and narrow-minded.

^ agreed

There are lots of players playing f2p, it doesn't mean that it's a low quality, how can you say that if you enjoy the game, I used to paly f2p games and I'm satisfied with it....

For magic there is magic online.
Else, there is also BattleForge. Not much of an MMO though, more RTS-TCG combination.

Yep, it's TCG in the sense of acquiring and trading types of units/buildings/stuff for your "deck", but it actually is a RTS game when you enter the battlefield.

Playing RTS matches in BattleForge is a blast, but you can also derive hours of enjoyment outside the battlefield by planning, designing, and tweaking your virtual decks. There's no limit to the number of different decks you can make, so there's no limit to the number of classes or "specs" you can play with the same character. That's why I enjoyed this :)

Grand Chase?

After 7 days of pure fun and excitement, NeoSteam has finished its CBT. I suddenly felt a rush to write a review on it, and ill try to make it as unbiased as I can (It will gonna be difficult XD).

Ok, so there are a lot of characters to choose from, 6 in total. What I don’t get is why did they place a gender chooser when all you can change is the race POM? I checked the other versions and it’s still the same. For example, I want a female Human or a male Elf. If you want to play human, you’ll be a male and if you like to play an elf, you’ll be a girl :P. Maybe they’ll change it too, but right now, all I can say is that customization of characters is not that good. One good thing about their character customization is that you can choose hair color and eyes so you won’t exactly look the same as everyone. Oh I almost forgot, if they’ll gonna add new genders, I’ll prolly try the beast race. They’re really REALLY cute!

Graphics: [8/10]

Since I’m a huge steampunk lover, all I can say is that the graphics of NeoSteam is above average. Considering that the graphics is already old and the game is F2P, this is still an eye catcher! Look at those steam! :P It’s not the best but it works for me! Where would you find a game with lower requirements but still offers cool graphics? There’s not to many F2P games that fall into this category

Gameplay: [9/10]

NeoSteam is a typical point and click game. Point. Attack. That’s basically it. But Neosteam also has an attack button (` or a) and auto search target button (tab). So if you’re tired of pointing and clicking, you can just press those buttons XD. The game mostly revolves around skills, meaning, you don’t get to add stats to your character. The one you’ll gonna do is to think really hard to get the best skill build. This kind of game lets you strategize what kind of character you are building. You want a pure defense character? Then choose skills for boosting def. You want a healer instead of a mage? Then get skills that will be useful for support. You want a little of everything? Spread your stats. It’s really one unique way of customizing your characters. Basically, the gameplay is quite generic, but it’s enjoyable at the same time.

Possibly the best free MMO I've ever played. This game has all the assets a good MMO needs, you can easily find enemies. But if you're almost dead or just don't want to deal with your enemy's just press the SPACEBAR and you wont be attacked. But there's also general community items, skills, and features such as the musical instruments like the ukulele. The music is a great way to communicate you can compare music or even if you write your own music you can put that on the game. You can just sit down with a bunch of your friends and have a campfire. There is many skills to get. Unlike many other MMO's you don't choose a type of character (Warrior, Mage etc.) you edit your character as you play. You can just stack up on combat moves, or you can make your character have the best of the magic or even make healer with decent attacks.

Today's youngsters probably spend as much time with a game console or computer as they do with a television, so it's little wonder that we're starting to see quite a few online worlds aimed at kids and teens. ToonTown Online, Club Penguin, and Wizard101 are just a few examples, and SOE recently decided to add to the fun by releasing Free Realms. They did so rather quietly, so you may not have heard much about it, but they already have millions of people registered, so I decided to take a closer look.

Everything about Free Realms, from the Web site to the in-game GUI, is dripping with candy-coated visuals. Both the graphics engine and the artwork are impressive, making you want to explore the vast and largely seamless areas.

You play as either a human, or, oddly enough, a Bixie, which is essentially a pixie. This choice doesn't actually have any impact on gameplay; it merely determines your avatar's appearance.

The game's interface is outstanding, removing all sorts of barriers to learning an online RPG. Navigational aids are everywhere, including a fully functional mini-map, paths that take you to your next quest objective, and even a "Take Me There" button that will automatically run you where need to go. If you don't want to run, the world map offers instant travel between key locations.

Ultima Online is the most complex fantasy role-playing game to date, with thousands of players simultaneously online in a persistent, dynamic gaming world. Unfortunately, at least for now, Ultima Online is more ambitious than it is successful. Design and technical issues will limit Ultima Online's appeal to gamers who possess a tremendous amount of patience and available time to invest in a game that is still in the process of being developed.

Set in Britannia, the same world featured in Ultimas IV through VII, Ultima Online takes place shortly after the events that transpired in the very first Ultima. The evil, power-mad mage Mondain has been defeated and his Gem of Immortality has been shattered, creating countless parallel worlds. The events that subsequently transpired in Ultimas II through VII occurred in one world created by the shattered gem, while each Ultima Online server contains a separate parallel world. It's an intriguing premise, as it allows Origin to pull events, items, and figures from the Ultima games into Ultima Online. But, unfortunately, with the exception of one scheduled event at the premature end of Ultima Online's beta test, this ability hasn't been effectively utilized.

Like prior Ultima games, Ultima Online uses an isometric, third-person-perspective view of the gaming world. A transparent "sighting bubble" allows you to keep an eye on objects that otherwise might be obscured behind walls. The graphics and character animations are detailed and very well done. The extensive musical score largely consists of high-quality General MIDI versions of music from earlier Ultima games. The mouse and hot-key driven interface is intuitive and customizable.

The world of Britannia really comes to life in Ultima Online. Scissors can be used to cut cloth that can be used to tailor a new shirt; an axe can be used chop up wood that can be whittled into arrow shafts; a fearsome wandering chicken will yield feathers that can be combined with wooden shafts to make arrows. If you have the inclination, you can really live out the life of a butcher, a baker, or a candlestick maker. Of course, this "interaction" merely consists of clicking one object onto another, but the levels of detail really help to create an immersive environment.

Personal opinion of this game is I once enjoyed it for about 3 weeks. Got a level 43 hunter, and noticed something. This something was 3 overpowered characters. The Crusader with it's quick skilled kills, and ability to get through places. The Voyager that can shred enemies to pieces with 1 or 2 shots of a conch ray. Then finally Champions who can tank anything in the game, amass huge amounts of health, and heal faster then they get dealt damage. I felt that my character was weak, and couldn't get far on his own. When in truth he really couldn't get anywhere easily. Constantly training on weak things, eating mass amounts of cake when fighting things 4 levels higher than me. Now that's just character problems. I've made 1 character of each class to test things out too. So the 3 main things I've listed are godly, and all other classes seem to need a party to get really far in game.

As for graphics, general gameplay, and style I like it. The ships are fun to sail around in, to fight other players with, and generally explore like you're supposed too. It adds almost a second game to the main one on land. Market prices go way off course from the actual item prices. Why's that? because people kill the bosses and farm the items that are needed for quests. KSing is a problem too especially since a high lvl can run by click your mob, kill it in one shot, and just keep going.

So in short my only problem is the characters themselves, the market, and KSing.
