Yeah, but watching the WoW fanbois attempt to convince everyone that their game is so awesome because there are millions in Asia not paying a "monthly sub" that are over-inflating Blizzards numbers makes them the superior gamer because of it is/can be fun to read sometimes.  Their attempts to overcompensate for something lacking in their existence can be down right hilarious and even bring about sympathy once you realize that many are using a damn video game's sub numbers to feel good about themselves.  What a sad, sad state we must be in as a society for these people to need to be apart something successful to bring a sense of accomplishment to their miserable lives.

Which is totally different from the others who continuously look for every little thing about WoW to tear down just to make themselves feel better for not liking it.

That is absolutely the best idea I've heard for the Xbone.

I've done a lot of "spring cleaning" over the years, but I think my oldest keeper is an original 3.5" demo disk of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.

I have console games predating that back to the Atari era, but that, I believe, is my oldest PC relic.

Without knowing any more details than what are in this thread, I'm going to say this will be the "It's not a merge!" patch.

And there is no way in hell that Deadpool is cooler than Daredevil.

While there are a few dev studios I no longer feel like supporting, I don't put much stock in the "the publisher made them do it" theories.

Not that I'm saying EA is saint, mind you. They have plenty of blood on their hands....

Ya, it pretty much sucks that they lock the T5 ships away now. There was the 3rd anniversary ship, but I think the T5 version was time-limited.

I suppose a gold member could save their stipend for a few months and get a ship. Still sucks though, but I guess that's one way to get monies from the players.

You can run around in the lower versions and still have a good time. I dust off my Olympic from time-to-time just to ramp up the difficulty.

(I think I'll play TSW+singleplayers until these suits{whose ties are so tight around their necks that they can't think-not enough O2} wake up and realise that you CAN'T REPLICATE WoW's success! Hell, even Blizz can't replicate that "perfect storm", let alone others.)

So you can't stand an Everquest Clone, cause thats the game you describe here that wow took after, not WoW. Lets stop giving WoW credit for things it was NOT the first to do, and lets stop with the ignorance that everything is a clone since it does stuff that a GENRE does. Not to mention some games listed you even threw up that... aren't even close? Then again throwing the term clone I assume that means anything thats the same genre is automatically a clone, so FPS games are all clones all the way back to doom and so on and so forth.

 

Honestly off this post... I just don't think suggesting anything is worth wild if your view point on what defines a clone is just so narrow and extremely broad. I'd say interacting in real life and I'd almost think you would jump on it claiming its a wow clone since you do quests (your job) with a lame story and lack luster 'combat' of doing your work.

He's not questioning fantasy. He's wondering how intelligent human beings can have so much fun doing insanely simple, easy, poorly designed chores, and pay money for it. There is no content for hardcore raiders. There's no content for hardcore PvPers. There's no content for people who like crafting. There's no content for people who love housing. There's no content for people who like public dungeons and grouping up.

And yet, here we are, (supposedly) intelligent human beings, debating on a forum what constitutes fun for other people.

I really don't know why, but I am amazed everyday on this board by the amount of people who can't understand that other people have different tastes. It's like a bunch of 5-year olds in here screaming "chocolate is better than vanilla, vanilla is stupid".
