Sorry, been busy. Thanks for all the suggestions, it's older than Europa Online or w/e and the others. The graphics from Neocron look right. But it's not that either.

Yup, you read that right, I will buy whichever person who can find me this game a $10 giftcard to a fast food restaurant of thier chosing. Why? Because I'm extremely desperate to find this game again even though there's an 80% chance it's dead.

Also, I don't remember many details.

What I do remember is that it was online, open world, you can have resource mines and stores and cars and I think homes too, and there were roads, it was like a modern city really.

The graphics were comparable to that of old Second Life I guess with worse looking avatars and not as much customization.

I'm fairly certain the game had food in it like bacon and stores that you could sell things out of.

I played it a very long time ago, and I'm trying to find it.

Thanks in advance.

ALSO - Not roblox or minecraft, a LONG time ago, these games aren't that old.

An old MMORTS

Not even sure it was an RTS. I know it was MMO. I know it had a trade system and a build system and you could drive around in cars and such and its graphics were box like I guess you could say. I'm pretty sure bacon was a commodity too.

An old MMORTS

I used to play this old MMORTS a long time ago, being that it's old, and I was kinda trying to find it again. Although I'm not even sure it's still alive.

What makes this even harder is that I have a horrible memory, what I do remember was that it's an open world, you can have cars, and you can build things and I believe you could get jobs and such.

It had horrible graphics too.

I wish I could afford to play this, i'd love to so much

I'm going to side with the fact that you probably did something wrong, as I played this game even in beta for quite awhile and found it very hard to find bugs.

I used to play this game before it died and the devs had to rebuild it to a smaller compact version, back then it was a fun exhilarating game worth the $10/m. Today, that is no longer true, and there are quite a few reasons for it.

Audio

7/10

The music in the game is nice, but extremely repetitive, that and if someone hits you or anyone near you with a heal-gun, your combat music suddenly starts.

Graphics

6/10

The graphics get a relatively low score because they have quite a few problems, the lightning in the game looks like a 9 year old crayola'd a book, the shadows are horrendous for static objects, and there's quite a few glitches that can get you stuck, forcing you to relog.

Gameplay

The gameplay starts off alright, but once you get into it you see what's really happening, by definition this can't even be considered a game, OR an rpg, it is in fact a political simulator, the FPS system sucks and killing people in a world filled with crime, drugs, and hate doesn't get you anything except penalties.

That, and there are a few elitist groups that are ruining it for the entire game. The Freedom Defense Corps for one, currently run by Dietrich, is really a ganking force unwatched by the police of the game or anyone else. Their leader, Dietrich, will have his faction act out personal killings of people he doesn't like, and is about as incompetent as George W Bush, There's a faction called the Mercenaries of the Blood who were put onto the FDC kill-on-sight list because Dietrich got stabbed.

The other policing faction is the LED, Law Enforcement agency, both the LED and FDC don't even have to work to get UC, they can run patrols all day in circles and gain UC while every other faction on the other hand has to fight for it, so for them they can farm it like the Chinese farm rice.

In the end, it is my personal opinion that this game needs to be scrapped again, it's not even worth the $10/m no matter how cheap.

I just wanted to point out, mostly out of boredom, that i still refuse to play ANY game that has an item-shop on it, in my opinion they're all the same and will never change.

In my opinion, "Company Z" would be "Sony Online Entertainment".

Yes, I have been personally burned by this company, but I have also witnessed it's destruction in games.  I'm sure many will agree with me when I say that SOE kills games, but my greatest example is a little game called "Infantry".

For those who remember, "Infantry' was a fantastic top-down shooter game! For those who don't, well..you missed out. It had different classes, some RPG aspects (like skill choosing on diff servers), vehicles of all sorts, and some fun maps that even repetitive were still kick butt and plenty of players. It was also, 100% free-to-play, no premium accts or nothing.

Then, one day, without warning and out of the blue SOE makes an announcement that the game will now cost money to play. Suddenly the population drops from 300 per server to 25, on a good day in the middle of the afternoon.  Or something to that extent but with the same percentage drop. At least 85% of the people who played, left and never came back. Even now that the game is completely free again (although lacks quite a few of the old vehicles) the population and hype of the game is still lower than the used diaper in a trash can.

And, I haven't looked at it for awhile, but I'm sure it's still there, if you goto the website for Infantry it will probably show a little flash video of a tank firing and some minor combat that my friends is what could be referred to as false adveritsing, as that type of epic game play hasn't been in the game for a while now.

Sony Online Entertainment - Where games go to die.

Korean games, they're coming out of the woodwork like the aids epidemic

This was probably pointed out before, but I didn't bother reading every post here, but the main problem with ANY program like GameGuard or Punkbuster or whatever, is that they only protect against whats known, same thing for virus scanners, and by time they update the found, something new has already been created. I.e. they're useless.

You know what I think is bloody fricken hilarious? The gold farmers are just as retarded as Sony is, because you still find them like mad in th is game, and SoE has OBVIOUSLY given up on doing anything about them.

I wonder if SoE even realizes that games they touch slowly wither and die, kinda like those infected with H1N1.

LF a hunting game, obviously not an MMO, and not "The Hunter"

Fixed

Not sure if this is really a bug, but the "Extra Life" comic isn't updating:

I'm trying to find a short film I saw a long time ago, I really want to find it again, I've been trying for months.

The most details I can recall about it, is it's a movie about three men on patrol in what I think was a post nuclear war, and they come across what they think is a sniper, and in their attempt to escape him they end up hitting an Anti-Personel mine, one of the soldiers dies, another is injured, and the third is left to call for help, anyone have any ideas?

Another extremely fail game bought to you by the useless twits at IGG

I spent in the item shop, i got scammed too.
