Beliasta produced a number of graphs that detail the mins and maxes of the various weapons in GW2. Pretty cool save for an apparent issue with engineer that I hope Anet looks into.

How are you viewing the originals? Photoshop shows them to scale and in very good detail. Windows image viewer not so much.

I so need to play the game on that resolution with the three monitors. The originals are nothing less than amazing. Just thought I would share.

Fansite, Guild Wars 2 has a plenty. Official forums,  none until now.

ArenaNet didn't kill fansites. It took a step towards doing what was expected out of a AAA title - adding an official feedback tool. And if you read the blog, then you know what they did do to fansites is hold them responsible for their actions and content something that needed to be set before launch anyway or else the drama explosion would be epic.

The web is actually about evolution. Money does not bring traffic. Innovation, effort and cooperation does. Like it has been said before in this thread - find a niche and then put your back into it.  The GW2 community as a whole is pretty cooperative with one another. If you do a good job at your work and content - they help bring you into the spotlight by linking and referencing.

Now as for making money in this kind of field - that is like making the majors or the pro sports leagues. Its got to be a way of life and a team effort - few if any can take a site, maintain it, draw traffic and make content and then go beyond that. And to me, that isn't really a fansite. That is a business.

Its a good thing I guess because it means they are working on getting the kinks worked out before launch. But man, I know quite a few who wanted to give the game a go there.
