No you can't customize your weapons unless you unlock it with perks. My Bow (on a level 15) and Sword (at level 6). |

Thats just it though, is the travel powers make the areas feel a lot smaller then they really are. I can sufficiently make it from the starting area of MC or Canada, or MI or Lemuria to any of the mission areas in less then 5 minutes (usually) using teleport, superspeed, flying or any regular travel power -- even acrobatics.
Regular walking would take forever on all levels, but I'll see what I can do, I know with diffent levels you can be forced to scale mountains and some levels have an irregular pattern, such as a rectangle more then a square, but I'll try canada and see what I can do.
Walking/runnig is the only true way to see how big a level actually is. |

You can do it right from the start. Just hit P in game. If it can be changed it will have a color in the right corner of the power. |

I agree. I still give character customization to CoH. Just barely. CoH has been out 5+ years. Like I said if it would of been 1 year to 1 year and half ago CO would of easily beat CoX. I think CO will easily outdo CoX with one update to the game.
PS CoH you can have wings at character creation stage also. =) |

Peter Porkers Champions Online Review (Straight Up, No BS Like it is)
General Discussion « Champions Online 8/22/09 11:32:32 AM
OP lied sounds like a lot of BS. =) Its a good fun game. Its just different from the Norm, which is a good thing. I just spent 2 hours helping a friend go through the tutorial her husband won't take as long but she will. =) |

(locked on main forums) Major flaw of CO, only one class, cause for lack of teaming.

Since its not you don't have to worry. Every power is something different. Except for a few that are the same. |

There are all ready lairs in the game and you do have to group up for them to beat it. King Pong is one I hear all the time Looking for group. Same with Sinsister. Pretty much they made instances tough.
Edit. Oh and the Player Quests are another spot you need to group. |

Again, I disagree, Lemuria and MI I already said how big they were... apart from that, I've leveled to 21 and beyond without ever going to MC. (I even did it recently in OB) so between 2 zones - desert and canada you can sufficiently level with the content there before ever stepping foot into MC. Thats straight questing and no grinding. (slow going unless you take the mission item quests if not, theres always repeatables)
Once you hit 25 and DO go to MC content opens up, you then have 3 areas full of quests, by the time you reach 30 you should be in monster island, which has enough quests to get you to max level... but you'll probably want to mess around in lemuria as well.. There is enough content to level from 1 - 40 and still miss half the content.... meaning you probably have enough content to level 2 characters without getting bored. (not counting PvP)
What he said. |

Pretty much I have to disagree. Sure it can be boiled down to that for min/maxing groups but the group of people I play with don't do that. I know tons of other people that don't do that. Most people play the game to have fun. Thats includes socializing. There is enough high level stuff in there to cause people to join groups. The OP is an opinion, it is FAR from fact. |

A decent review. |

You have to be pretty stupid, or a troll, to think this game isn't good. Sure its got bugs, every game has bugs with every update. Just remember the Haters/Trolls usually have the biggest mouths. Play it have fun and ignore (I mean put them on ignore) the Haters/trolls. |

This is actually a good review. Sure the game does have some problems but its no where near how some people put it. =) |
