This game will be an utter failure if they aren't true to the lore at all in a sense like that but i just pray to the emperor that it doesn't happen like that. They can't fuck up so royally TWICE can they? |

thq loses money but up in sales

This is a good thing but one hell of a gamble. I guess it comforts me to know they are actually spending a lot on the MMO but I hope it goes into good use. I've become so jaded over the past few years. |

At least there are options available for you. I dont think FE is terrible in all regards but its a good shot I'd say only played a bit from open beta and a bit after with the trial, not my cup of tea but it did a lot of things right like the crafting was actually fun for once. on another note: you can get your awesome post apocalyptic MMO when i get my gundam-esque mecha shooter MMO or a good cyberpunk MMO at the very least. |

Originally posted by stayontarget Oh no I agree, its just the way of things in the west is what I meant to get across. But that was just an example of where cultures clash on this and for ratings or gameplay reasons I imagine enmasse is working on things like that. |

Why Black Templars can work

A shame i won't be able to play a Blood Angel, at least I don't think. But If i recall (on an interview on eurogamer) they intend on adding more chapters in expansions or major patches perhaps? |

The fact that they got footage from dawn of war and icorporated it into the trailer (although just a few secs) worries me a bit for quality/budget of the game. It might just be me being dumb but i can't help but worry.
Also no tyranids... ;_; |

Originally posted by lzanon I doubt it will just be that, have you seen the direct eastern mmo ports to the U.S.? With the time En masse is taking they seem to be working out little details. For example: the little midget race in the game (whos name escapes me) is getting all legwear extended because lolicon isn't necessarily appreciated here in the west and the under-garments are visible in the korean version so..I've also heard quest changes, voice overs and a good translation of the in game text. On another note let them take all the time they want. I'd be willing to wait as long as possible to have the best quality possible of an MMO they can produce. Criticizing them for taking to long is just dumb. |

From what i've heard; they had to release Tera incomplete over in korea with a lvl 52 cap out of 60 because it was that incomplete. |

I guess all there is to do is hope for the best; but it looks like they've hit a very rough path along the way for funcom to go through with this. Just worried overall |

This game had plenty of potential, but the only thing that killed it was the lack of content. It is a good game, the gameplay was fun, (could have done better with the melee but w/e) but one can only take so many pvp matches till your burnout on the game. As a mecha fan, this was a little jewel in a big desert since there aren't many games like this anymore. Its a real shame too I hope someone picks it up again, real good casual game. |

General: Kotick Wants Call of Duty to be a Subscription Based MMO

I don't have the least bit of curiosity on how COD is (the last console FPS I played seriously was Halo 2); but it is obviously popular. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this were to happen. |

I could just feel the bias in the title of the thread. How are most gone, when they just removed path of the titans and changing guild talents? like lets ignore the fact that this expansion for example brings in 3000 quests when wrath brought in 1000. |

Who played WoW in vanilla that still plays?
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 5/25/10 1:21:40 AM
I've played on and off for the past year, but I've really played since 2005. As for why i still play? I just consider to it to have a compelling storyline, great friendships I've made through the ame that keep me tied to it somewhat, enjoyable gameplay and i dunno. I guess its really just the game i found myself having the greatest time playing. As for the comment on people who play vanilla don't play WoW today? i find that statement to be unfounded. I think chances are favorable that if you random a 5 man instance on the finder at least one person played in vanilla. I'm also going to be selfish and say that i do yearn for the times when PvE was harder. I kind of enjoyed getting an elitist sense out of it. It made me feel unique. Aside from the PvE difficulty, arenas, and the absence of world pvp; I don't really have a problem with WoW. |

Dragon Ball Online: Opening Cinematic Video
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 5/25/10 1:05:09 AM
Release this to western audiences already >.< . Sometimes if your a big enough fan of an IP or series you'll still play it no matter how bad it is :/ . This same company also works on Super Deformed Gundam Capsule Fighter Online, which is hugely popular in eastern Asia and i play it on a Taiwanese server. The game is a great pvp game IMO, I doubt this game will end up bad either. Take my opinion with a grain of salt if you wish I will admit I'm a fan of anime in general like said Gundam series, and DBZ >.> |
