Blizzard finally gave in; oh well I'm not surprised really. PC gamers can only really suffer from this...

Why would you support such mediocrity? They had the biggest budget on any game ever developed and they blew it by churning out something generic again. It is 2012 not 2004; the combat system is just too overdone. Let EA learn from this mistake if TOR starts to dive because I could care less if they plan to make another MMO out in the future.

They played it far too safe developing SWTOR when people are begging for something different.

The only thing that i will always be bitter towards and never forigve the modern playerbase of WoW is the fact that they killed off the world. Warcraft doesn't have a world anymore its just a dungeon crawler with all this instan queues and crap. Raid finder is just beating the dead horse even more, with that in place one will NEVER have to leave a city ever again after reaching max level.

I could put aside the whole casual/hardcore arguement aside but the fact is that this instant gratification crap is killing the idea of a persistant world... at least it has with WoW. If blizz doesn't have any plans to fix this anytime soon then I'm just going to delete my characters and never look back anymore... it is just infuriating!

A+ or B+ type MMORPGs will be the only types that attempt to make a Full On Virtual World like the Zelda Games sorta attempts (at least like Ocarina of Time did, I remember reading Nintendo Power Magazine with Miyamoto loooong time ago talking about how they wanted it to have full night and day cycles and stuff, but we all know that doesn't really make a game a virtual world anymore). You could always just keep trying all the MMORPGs until you find one you can see yourself staying with for over a year. I've tried nearly all of them (I'm counting all the ones on the MMORPG.com game list) that there are and Dark Age of Camelot and WoW were the only ones I played for over 4+ years. I can definitely say Dark Age of Camelot was my golden age in MMORPGs. While WoW was definitely a better game overall, DAoC was the better Virtual World and I think I appreciate it more than I do WoW, so, there's no telling what you will like until after you have done it all I guess.

As for a Zelda MMO - I always wondered if Nintendo ever thought about making an MMORPG theirself of some sort, being the geniuses who made the Legendary Zelda Games. I don't watch Miyamoto's twitter feed though so I have no idea what that man thinks lol.

I'm pretty sure on more than one occasion Nintendo already stated that they do not have plans to make MMOs. Which is sad because they have the resources and a few franchises perfect for it like Zelda and Pokemon.

I'm kind of hoping they use the extra cash from the new arena game they're developing to inject it into war and fix it copletely. Hopefully F2P and a good ad campaign. I'd love to see this game rise from the ashes.

Also for the record I believe if anything should be called MOBA, this and bloodline champions might be it. DotA always called itself an Action RTS yet Riot decides one day to call LoL a MOBA and everyone follows suit... WTF? You an pick any word out of that acronym and it can seriously go without it. Multiplayer online Arena, Online arena, Online battle Arena etc.

Please just let this game die. Or some other dev get their hands on it and fix it! So much potential yet so badly done. I'd rather spend my days forgetting this happened, I'm glad I had no money at the time.

Not being a fan of the Star Wars IP i can see plainly that SWTOR isn't really anything special. Probably just another rift (Well done WoW clone simply put). Now what i love are action games; spectacle fighters are some of the funnest games today i believe so this is probably my second most anticipated MMO after GW2.

Edit: GW2 and WH40k: DMO equally anticipated and THEN tera .

If they imitate LoL's business model, in which they have hero rotations, that will severly hurt the competitivity of DOTA 2. Not having access to all the tools is a big nono and its why I believe LoL can't make it as a proper e-sport. HoN when down the same lane sadly so thats going to hurt it a lot (except legacy players). The only way i see this goig f2p is if they do something similar to TF2. As long as all the heroes are available to play immediately to everyone it doesn't matter. Gabe is aware the DotA community is not one that is easy to please or one to piss off.

Where the hell did I mention denying? It has its pros and cons and I think the cons outweigh the pros but w/e its more skill based which I enjoy. 

I really dislike Riot; balance is terrible in this game and I also have more complaints but thats not contributing much to this thread.

You insult the legacy of the great Sand King Crixalis good sir. Riot made the gayest scorpion giving it hands and flashy with purple/pink IMO. Now are they also including replays in this big update yet or not? Can't really be very competitive without replays eh?

On another note, if MMORPG wills start to list MOBA style games why is there no Heroes of Newerth or the other 2 new additions Rise of immortals and the third who's name escapes me.

On another note: today's the day men, whether we see how this game might just turn out.

I have faith that the emperor will show the devs of vigil game the light and show them the error of their ways with the 2 faction system! Warhammer online is not going to happen again.
