Why would LOS not be broken?

It is all about the same thing.  And some where Rekhan stated that you cannot block line of sight with your ship.

 

Good catch! Thanks for the info on that. You are right, seems it was dropped due to the ability fo teh ships to pop up or down and all teh calculations it would take to do the LOS and constantly moving ships of different size, speed, and configuration.

Guess we will have to beta this and get a judgment call on it.

Glad to see one of the fleets here trying tog et a few members. Just remeber the STO forums may get cleaned in teh future, ( not these forums), but you can also post there. I assume you have already.

I will probably try STO first due to the long history and fan base of the series.

I so wish I had a blue ray player...... or at least an uneven table leg to help balance.

War hammer had an interesting style for contested zones.

I also wish the player bases come back. I would love to fight a few NPC's to keep my base alive.

If I was a klingon I would totally prey on the weak and feast upon the broken halls of their cities. They have never been known as soft when it comes down to this, nor have they ever really wished to rely on any other strength but their own. In time we might see them team up to fight the borg, or other species, but to create a new race.... that is tempting fate right their. What is worst then the borg or species 8472?

It would be more dangerous a the moment to create a new race, then to ease people into the game, then perhaps later add it to the cannon. There are still a few races out their that have had cameo at best, but were quite dangerous. May be in time we will see them emerge with a full armada ready to take what they want, or use diplomacy to steal it all.

Though I can understand the need to get the game on multiple platforms and operating systems, I also think of how many games that added this on as they could.

Since its still not even in a closed beta yet, we can only assume so much. Cryptic is very limited on waht they can say right now. They could be working on a cross over as we speak, but can not say anything because they do not want to dissipoint or make false hopes.

I seen many games that these were added just shortly before launch.

All we can do is hope for the best.

I am very intrested in the combat. I was palying this game called Darkspace.

I found the game to be interesting and the STO would take the combat I seen from darkspace to a completely new level.

Thought I am not try to comparing darkspace combat to STO, I find the game mechanics of combat the same, to a degree. STO provides a much greater depth into the enviroment.

I hope I have exact change for the Troll booth.

I assume lifetime is also guaranteed? if so, me.

I am glad I paid for that lifetime in CO. I really want to help make STO the best. which it is.
