I do like the ultra cutesy graphics but, nothing special here. Just another typical asian mmo

also I HATE those crap awful cutscenes they portray your character in, it makes everything like watching a really bad cliche anime

So I checked it out and while the production values are terribly impressive (even for being an poor imitation of L2), I couldn't find any reason to keep playing. I think it's good that some asian MMOs are catching on with the WoW style questing, but questing is still grinding no matter how you put it.

So is the skill use delay thing normal, or just a beta thing?

I'd grow my hair out, lose an eye on "accident" for an eyepatch, find a raggedy cloak, and lead a group of bandits for women and beer!

That kind of drama stuff is some serious BS. hope the best works out for ya!

also music brings out the beast in me, it usually makes me want to jump on my bed while punching the thin air

I bet this wouldn't have reached such a sad state if they had used the raised rates that are already programmed into the game

Other than more precise aiming and different controller shapes, the wii is nothing special. The button mashing is replaced with waggles. Also out of all the current line up it's the weakest, technologically. It also has the poorest online support, the other two consoles have a better chance of utilizing an MMORPG. The 360 already has one and another coming up.

Also I find it ironic that you chose that video with article to show what the wii can do...it just shows how developers continue to ignore what the wiimote controls can do in favor of waggle, essentially the same as pushing buttons except it requires more wrist movement than the simple push of a button with your thumb. So much for innovation!

I'm just trying to look at the graphics from a quality standpoint, not by the pointless arguments of cartoon vs realism. I've heard and seen several examples of bad animation examples about EQ2, but I have yet to hear any examples from the people who think WoW's animations are horrible. Care to elaborate please?

The sliders for EQ2 weren't as exaggerated as SWG, not to mention the characters were 10x more ugly than they were in SWG too, so I would consider it bad customization even if they do give you sliders

we've already been through this, but I'm sure once the game releases and gains popularity we're going to see a flood of "WAR looks like gameX!!!" topics
