The game finally worked for me after 2 days!

I have to admit I was pretty disappointed the last couple of days, but I am glad I stuck it out.

Aion is beautiful, and it looks like I might have fun again in an MMO. ..

Just came back myself and have to admit the game is quite different, in a good way, from what I remember.

You can't fault WoW.  You can only outgrow it...then again, there's not much greener grass anywhere else.

yea, the game is great when you can play it. 

i'm shelling out about $2200 to upgrade my desktop and laptop.

big chunk of change for some entertainment?  not really.  MMO saves you a bunch of money on bookers and hookers!

is this game playable on a PC equipped with an 8800GTS card?

i'm throwing in my $50 to help the game succeed.  only played a few hours, but that's more entertainment than fitty at the local meat market aka strip joint...

so, when do brothels get introduced for pirates?

They pushed the game back another two months to 5/20/08 to do this?

I'm going to be too old to play the game, again.

I have been out of the MMO scene for a year and a half.  Picked up TR on a whim and now I am back to 4 hours of sleep a night...

So yea, I don't recommend it if you EXPECT to sleep.  Hopefully, the endgame will be fun, but who really gives a damn.  Been there.  Raided that.  Ranked way up there...

My level 17 looks better than my level 60 with a legendary and I am having fun again...that's what's  important.

But my first real day of playing (got the game last night) started playing at about 2pm, looked at my clock a "hour" later (so I thought) and it was already 8 pm. No MMORPG has done that to me, and I've played many. And its one of the few games of any genre thats have had that happen with me. Tabula Rasa is a lot of fun, combat is fun and I love the setting. I can see myself playing a long time, and I rarely say that when I start a mmorpg. I even was able to do a few control point Bane raids, that was lots of fun...I died a lot.

Anyways, sorry for using up your thread...I thought this would be a good thread to put it in.

btw, i really don't want YOU to play until there is absolutely no lag for me!! hahaha.  i want to run max settings with 30+ fps during bane defense/assaults!

Having moved on from WoW after TBC, I finally found a game that I can play more than 3 days.  I have not had so much  fun playing the first 15 levels of an MMO...ever.  Not the EQ series, not FFXI, not WoW, definitely not Vanguard and Guildwars...

Btw, the game auto configured my graphics to maximum with a 1600x900 reso and I thought it looked kinda crappy on max.  However, I just changed the reso to my default 1680x1050 and oh boy, the game just lit up!  So play around with the settings if you think the graphics are bad. 

Anyways, it's definitely worth 50 bucks, unless you live in your granny's basement =)

This game has got my attention so far since I quit WoW after BC came out.  Maybe I am just enjoying the "new" aspects of a Sci-Fi MMO. 

50 bucks is a cheap date anyways so pick it up!

i picked up a retail copy and the code isn't active either.  anyways, i just went to their website and "pre-ordered" for an extra 5 bucks.  i'll be losing that 5bucks since i already bought the game.  you can do that too if you can't wait to play...
