General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/19/11 9:49:39 PM
OMG Lightsabers!! really though, i bought the game because i have been F2P hopping for the last 3 months. im bored, and this game has lightsabers, what more could i need? Really it just comes down to what do you like? is ToR for you? if you like anything about the games story, game mechanics, concepts, community, or even the graphics, what is it you're missing out on by trying it? besides the 60 bucks to get started. |

Levels 1-10 are going to turn people off.
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 11/27/11 3:51:20 PM
I found the 1-10 content quite acceptible. there was a couple balance issues, but nothing game breaking. seriously, if i had not rushed through to get as much done as possible i would have really enjoyed the experience. |

search for battle clinic. thats got a ton of info.
take your time. once you get away from mission running, you basically setup your own rules goals and desired achievements
enjoy it.
Tip 1, which is constantly thrown into the mix... train some learning skills early. they make it easier to learn skills. and maxing isnt as important early on as later.
Tip 2. Be picky about your player corp. Have requirements, and find one that meets or exceeds yours.
Tip 3, have fun!! |

it was called an epic aric quest line, its suppose to get harder as you progress... If you liked the game before, get back into it. whats it cost ya to reactivate? 15 bucks? 1 month and if you are bored again i'd say figure out why and fix it. |

Tibia sucks but its addictive. theres always grinds, if you guys just role play, any game will do... LOTR online is free so is DNDonline
pick something and just give it a world. world of magic was interesting but i didnt get into it. check out the game list, pick something dl and see, can always delete and clean up after testing with utility programs. |

if you really like that kind of thing, Runescape lets you craft lots of stuff. www.runescape.com basic items for free accounts are bronze items, upto rune items, though there are lots of other skills for crafting, several require subscription to access. no big deal. if its something you may like, give it a try. |
