I do not understand why people are bashing blizzard so much.  The game is evolving.  The reason why I dont play it anymore is because I got bored of it.  You really can only play a game so much until you get tired of all the skills, content, and fighting the same mobs with different colours.

I will always trust blizzard to make a great game.  No issue there.  I still think WOW is a GREAT game.  I just got bored of it.  And I expect that to happen after playing a game for 4 years.

 I remember in Asherons Call, the Beal Zharon live events.  In fact I still have the videos on my computer from them.  These add a whole new fun factor for games.  Not just running around doing scripted things.  Being able to actually see and be apart of live vents is amazing.

 Ive been playing DDO for a few days now, and im really enjoying it.  I find it very solo friendly, and i love how there is a narrator as you do quests, its really neat!

 I wish there was a trial for this game!  I really want to try it.  It sounds like old school AC.  I remember macroing my skills.  Thats not really a bad thing either.  I loved AC, and is still the best game in my opinion.

 I totally agree.  Although I never did end up playing EQ, i played Asherons Call.  And I find old school MMO's took SKILL to play.  Now you just log in and follow the quest lines and eventually you'll hit 60.  

 I understand where the OP is coming from, and i absolutly agree!  It sucks paying for something and then 6 months down the road they make it free.  What they could atleast do is if they switch to F2P, with a cash shop, give the original people who purchased the game, a credit for the cash shop.

 I really looked forward to Spellborn.  A few years ago I signed up for the beta and was really interested in the game.  To bad this happened.

I pre ordered AION few weeks ago.   I normally dont pre order games until they are out in retail and i have been able to try them.  The only two games I have EVER pre ordered was WOW and AION.  That must say something!

I have only played up to level 8 so far, and I have really enjoyed the game.

If i preorder aion, do i get into the beta NOW, or is it only on select dates, or in the future?

 I just started playing Exalted with a group of my friends.  I must say its really exciting doing Real life role playing.  Very interesting how a story can take you!

 Oh, and how you cast with a book, not a staff!  You flip through pages and cast your spell!

It seems Aion is stepping outside what everyone else does.

 I have to say I am loving Aions animations!  When my mage stands still he kinda walks back and forth and flipping through his book.

I stopped moving in a little pond with fish, and my character started moving back and forth again, and fished around in the water with this hands and picked up a fish.

The environment in this game is just stunning.  Cannot wait for US release!  This is a game I wouldnt mind paying for.

So can anyone sign up and play?  Or is there a catch?  I got signed up and im playing now.

 Im playing Atlantica Online right now and its great.

Im in a guild, always atleast 10 people online in my guild.  The *peers* tab which has all people online within 10 levels of your level is always populated. 

You can solo in this game no problem.  I have solo'd to level 65 so far.  Its PVE focused with some PVP if you want to.

Great game.  You really should play to level 20 to finally get your formation building up and really start liking the game.

When I first started playing I deleted it after 10 minutes.  And then went back and fell in love!

 I am sure it will change, because it is in beta, but it looks A LOT LIKE WOW!
