Star Trek online because in a couple of months i expect klingon and maybe romulan faction play PVE wise:D

there is only one problem with the game. Developers decided to not listen to the players. Example = early release = no villains + huge nerf. The game 2 days before launch day was fine but we all know what happened. They gave us a nerf to make it take longer to level since there was no content later on.  

Well cryptic has proven that they fail at their own creations so why would they succeed in doing something as difficult as recreating the star trek universe?

 On the other hand Star Wars will kill wow---end of story we all know it-------(i hope)----- 

This game has many problems but it has potential. What bothers me the most is that new games like CO and FE come out all the time lately and they seem and are unfinished. So i would advise against  using the "the game is new give it time" quote all over the place since it only harms the community. I hope the game burns and dies along with every other game that comes out looking like the child nobody wanted. If that happens then maybe we can get a good game. As it is now FE at least for me is unplayable OP said most but in any case you get my point. i hope:D

By stating that it is only your opinion and that we should be calm means that you do not stand behind your login but rather know that your review is biased. Posting reviews and especially from a link means that you should be ready to be flamed, and so you should since you completly ignore the fact that the game is on its most early released stage.

What you do is what every other wanabe reviewer does, which is to exagerate to make a point. Reviews should be constructive unless you oppose the game from a proffesional position. If you want people to take your reviews seriously make sure next time you disregard your OPINION and simply state the facts reflecting the general community's viewpoint rather than your own. 

I tested CO in closed and beta as well as preordered long time ago. I really like the game since its something new and flashy. BUT i would never buy a lifetime sub. Spending 200 on a game that we really dont know how well it will do is clearly a sigh of addiction (ever send 200 to poor and starving kids in africa or even gave 200 to anyone in your family for no reason?).

The only + i see is the ST cb access but then again betting on a horse that has not been even born yet is a bad bad bad choice. 

It does feel alot like CoH and that is what i like about CO. CoH's potential were immense but due to the known problems they didnt and will not be reached. But CO is taking that step, because they understood that CoH was what people want and they know how we want it. I suppose if they jump on the train at lauch with a few updates, expansions this can be CoH Extra Special.

It looks to me ,that Bioware figures all they have to do is rival the original SOE SWG for graphics.Well i have news for Bioware,that game was released in 2003[probably produced from 1999-2003] and had quite a bit of content and game play to back it up.Personally i would feel better playing SOE's SWG before i would play this game.Even worse,it is hard to believe but WOW looks incredible when compared to this effort.

As for WOW and MT there is nothing in common. CO+MT+missmanagment= disaster. I am super curious to see what they will sell. There are soooo many things that can go bad real soon with that.

Dont know how we can draw conclusions out of something that we have not seen. I agree that MT can be a very dangerous attempt, especially on a community such as CO's that is aware of the situation and canot be tricked easily. But i think it will all come down to what there is for us to buy.

As a tester i can see many a problem with that. An example is the costume peices, that yes you can earn them but there are implications. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think we are looking at the forest and not the tree here, i mean who cares how/why they got money, the point is that they are a healthy company which will be capable due to their recourses to develop new games. And is it not that which we want?

It would be nice to have some reasoning in your post as you do not state why it will fail. I personaly will not play Aion because i do not support the medeival/korean style that games rely on these days but it ould be nice to know whats going on in the general mmo stage. So either give arguments or expect flames. 

I seriously loled when i read the title since my game buddies in the states complain about the same thing and i have also read about it in the CO forums. I still dont understand why people dont digital preorder games. Its the new age = digital purchasing is the future!

Champions...well making characters is fun but beyond that I found the game overly simple, disconnected and disjointed and would get bored very quickly. So I will not buy Champions because I simply find is boring and even cheap feeling and really I found combat in CoH to be better.

My other gripe with Champions without getting into specifics is that it is just to dang easy, in fact the easiest mmo I have ever played and for me, I need some sense of danger or else it just becomes a bore and I auto pilot through stuff. Many other gripes as well that I can not get into.

Aion will bite the dust, reason behind this is that CO is something fresh and amazing. I beta tested it and all i can say without breaking nda is that this game will ROCK you socks of. 

i laughed so hard when i read the thread, these guys are far beyond fanboy status loool 

Idd there are so many flaws with keeps etc like spells going through doors or what i remember from back in the beggining dont know if they fixed it, that keeps would just disapear and you could only see the floor and go through walls so you could kill everyone... or that in a big battle you could just skip a castle and go for the next one so that the strategy of the core system would horibly be ruined. The potential was great and if it wasnt for the bad stratigic design and the horrible lag in lord rooms it could have been a major success...

I'd like to see it happen too, but I seriously doubt it will happen in an mmorpg.  I'm more inclined to believe an experience like that will happen on a private server run by competent admins.

Idd very expensive and very time consuming. Everything would be done independantly not just through a random generator.
 

But as MMO's evolve as a genre i am sure that some game with a massive world will monopolize the community long enough so that world can be created.
