Falcasia Online, developed by SawQuart Productions, has some a new survey that we highly advise completing. The info you provide will help Falcasia Online become a better MMORPG. It takes roughly 3 minutes (at most), so its not long. |

I loved Puzzle Pirates :P when I was younger. I loved the idea that you could actually be a captn of your own ship and have your friends be your crew. So what I need is a good game with the same concept (not puzzles...) and I need it to be FREE.... Any suggestions. I prefer if there aren't revealing woman on the front page... :P |

Just to reply to a few of you guys, I don't plan to make it like WoW (I haven't even played it). I'm just trying to make a free game that people can enjoy. Im just asking for ideas that would make my game unique and cool. I also want people to be addicted (which is kinda the goal for most devs). Im making my MMORPG (by the way) on a free engine. It WILL be published in a while, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what types or what features of games people like. I AM in the design process where I am brainstorming ideas on how my game would be cool and unique, not just popular like WoW. The games I have played are Runescape, Roblox, Regnum, Eternal Lands, Toontown, and a bunch of other crappy Disney made games. I have ideas about these games and how they can improve. Thats also what I'm trying to make. A improved version of many games, but without copying them directly. Obviously by now you can tell my game will be of a fantasy genre. The graphics are similar to a Pokemon game (I HATE Pokemon, btw) and the idea similar to Runescape (but remember, not a copy). I plan to make money on the game by posting ads on my site, and possably the ability for people to pay to get extra gold (the game's currencey). Thanks all of you (again)!!! |

So what basicly all of you guys are saying, is that you need to have multiple custumations (in order to keep the game creative) and you must have a story line. By the way, pets would be able to be in your house. PvP=Player vrs Player. PvC=Player vrs NPC. Im not ignoring your guys ideas, because they all are so good. When I finish the game I might mention the helpers on the credits list (as a little payback for your ideas ;) ). One thing that the engine will not allow is too many custumations. For example, I can't use the idea about Kings designing their own shields, flags, ect. What I can have are body custumations like skin color change, hair change, or clothes change. Also, that idea about the Kings. That gave me a great idea. I'll have a certain level where you can become a King, Noble, ect. Also the idea about the steads was a good one. I played a game called Regnum where you can ride horses for a price. I have also noticed that most really addicting games dont have steads. That would be easy to accomplish, even though it might take some time. BTW, while you guys were responding, I made 10+ spells. I have begun mapping and I guess since it was such a fan favorite, I'll add a dungeon. These dungeons can only be operated by kings or nobles. Like my ideas and accomplishments so far? |

Im making a MMORPG. What should my game have that makes it better than all the rest? I already have pets, houses, and PvP and PvC features, but what else should I have? Please check out the thread before posting. Also check out my latest posts... |

SawQuart Productions (as you may or may not know) is making a game called Falcasia Online. We need ideas that will make our game great. It will be completely free, so by contributing you wont be just helping us out, youll be helping yourselves out. All Im asking for is just answers to a few of the following questions, plus any extra details that you may want. 1. Should we make it a battle of the classes? In a BOTC game, different classes (aka races) spawn from different corners of the map. As they get better, they may want to venture outside of the newbie area, and onto a battle field where the classes can fight against each other. Instead of having a BOTC, we could have a game more like Runescape, where all players spawn from one location and then work up their levels, and eventually reach the point where they can enter the PvP zone. BTW, a safety zone is necesary in all games in order for the newbies to develop as a character. 2. What items should we put in the houses for the character? We just need to know what furniture, accessories, ect. (even pets) we should put in the houses when they buy it. Houses wont be a big part of the game, but we just need to know... 3. How many people should we allow per server? There is no lag at 15 people, but over 100 would crash the system. So do you guys prefer a semi-laggy map with tons of players, or a complety fast map with some players? 4. Should NPCs be a major part of the game? We dont want NPCs to have a major role in the game, unless you want them to be. We arent talking about a PvC game complety, just a PvP game with lots of PvC. 5. Are quests a major part of the game? If the game doesnt have quests, it would make programming it a lot easier and faster, but making no quests is slightly boring. 6. Should we make a non-multiplayer minigame place? The games would include chess, checkers, and stuff like that. Or does the non-multiplayer part make the game less fun? |

You can develop a game! If you want to volunteer to do a job for my MMO, just contact me. You dont have to learn a scripting language (even though it might help), all you have to do is make items (swords, rings, ect), NPCs, spells, or/ and make/ create the map! I would really love your support! The game will be available for developers within a week or two, so contact us at sawquartproductions@gmail.com |
