Hi, I'm looking for eve online meets maplestory. Does it exist? (not necessarily Sci-Fi, in fact fantassy prolly better).

Not necessary player controlled factions, WoW style but with players actually being able to hold land will be good.

So yeh I'm looking for a kiddie version of EVE thats probably not in space.

The graphics style of LUNA/MapleStory is pretty good, preferablly with more action (WSAD and spell system diablo style)

I am infuriated that their lack on confirmation or denial of weather dust will be on pc and console or just console only.

I will be even more infuriated (to the point of somehow tanking and winning concord in the middle of jita) if dust aint on PC.

I have cancelled my eve subscription, after the next 2 months or so im off till dust comes to PC.

WHY so harsh? Think about it. For the price of an xbox, you can soup up your old comp. Or replace it entirely. You're gona have to biy a comp anyway. If it doesn't come to pc and it takes off, I'd quit eve for good. And I'd try to get as many people off eve as possible too. This is too much. I hate consoles and now they are making one part of eve console based. I've been waiting a LOOONNNGG time for eve to feature planetside conflict and exploration, and I'm utterly infuriated that when my dreams finally did come true, its NOT going to be for me. My pod pilot can't cruise planetside and take part in this.

I can assure this is not just me rattling off without thinking, I've thought about this long and hard. Just my 0.02, I spoke to some people not all agree with me, but many t would like it on pc too. Can't they do what GTA did? PC and Xbox?

To be a WoWkiller, they need all or most of the stated points:

-Conquerable land. Fight for your alliance.

-Ability to defend the said land.

-Ability to fight on mounts.

-Ability to build towers, walls and crap.

-Flying mounts everywhere.

-AA emplacements on the said towers to prevent people going straight for the town.

-An interactive evolving storyline not static like WoW.

-Voice them quests.

-Moar in game cutscenes.

-Make instances less of a joke.

-2 level 20s should be able to kill a level 40. Therefore a mob of level 10s should actually be feared.

-BIG BIG BIG game world.

-Moar npcs and cities, better ai.

-Grow a farm.

-Harvest useful materials from the said farm.

-Mining less of a joke - Actually able to pilot drills and dig the ground, not just a node where you stand on top of and throw your pick at.

I rp for some games, some games not. Personally, I never encountered the problem you described, all you really need is an active imagination and the ability to block out everything else. And of course a /ignore feature for the trolls, or good fast GMs that ban them FAST.

Harry potter (I prefer to call it hairy potty) sucks big time, hated the movie, hope it NEVER becomes a game.

Well at least the disconnects are almost nonexistent now, lag is better.

Items have been given an overhaul too, lots of folks inclluding myself moaning about it but at least theres more variety now, though I wish they hadn't made ALL items obsolite...

Also, pvp quests (the first being ddragon pong) are supposedly avaliable on test server, I dont know for sure.

Dawn of Fantassy should be fun, I've checked MMORTS.com but kinda like the card system of SAGA. Just hope theres new features soon else I probably won't stay long too. among a handful who have played in beta up till now consistently. I will probably stay around but if things don't happen soon, I may just make this my secondary game or something.
