Attempted to get into MO during the closed and open betas. Game was unbearably unstable, clunky and down right terrible looking. Being an Eve player this was the MMO I was most excited about since it was supposed to be completely player run but to my dissapointment it wasn't even playable.

Not suprised to hear they are still struggling, the game was still in Alpha during the Beta, nice attempt hope a better company comes along and fixes it.

As a free addon expansion... Very unlikley.

 I agree and would gladly pay for a werewolf expansion if the WoD gameplay and enviorment is done justice with the Vampire side alone.

I wholeheartedly agree with getting into GW2 as a game, but this data is well-reported already, doesn't really offer any insight, nor is it an editorial, explaining all sides of an issue, nor does it offer any sort of humor.

I'd minimally expect historical references, differing points of view and perhaps a little controversy tossed in. Also, some exploration and research into other upcoming games, and what they are doing, and why their system is good in some respects and bad in others.

I might be just overly critical, but I'd prefer to read the second example. Whether I like GW2 or TOR, I'd find it interesting to read, and if correct information is included, perhaps increase my interest for one or the other (or, if you are good enough, both).

 

 I didn't know about these features, although the article was basic it was still very informative for a casual reader like myself. IMHO you are being overly critical, but constructive critism is a good thing as long as its in good taste and not bashing.

So what happens when something drops for someone else of the same class and build but he already has that piece and you need it? Traditional looting gives that option of getting the gear to the people who need it rather than it getting bound to someone who is going to vendor or break it down.

I like the idea, I just don't see it being practical unless you can trade your loot with the raid in case you get something someone else can use more.

 You sir are prob most accurate. With WoW in close  second followed by Aion then Rift then SWTOR. I think EQ2X is going about thier item shop better than AoC. As always the market will follow SOEs model. Hell F2P were considered failures until Free Realms. lol, F2P is the new AAA.

The involvement of RMT in AAA MMOs is to cut down on the RMT business. Eve does this but behind the scenes to undercut RMTers so they are not profitable outside thier system which really helps players who cant afford a sub to play the game by working for thier sub ingame and buying a "sub" off another player who bought it to sell for in game money or items.

Lets wait to see how Activision-Blizzard handles this RMT device before we cast judgement.

I found myself back playing EQ2 for its advances in graphical appearence. I hated this game at launch compared to WoW & FF11. Its graphics made all your characters look like barbie dolls with landscapes that looked barely above those of EQ1. EQ2 always had a plethora of content and I really wished I was gave it a chance at launch, I held onto EQ1 for several more years and played a few F2P games before getting sucked into WoW which with its primary Devs gone is nothing but a recycle machine now.

Although I hate the instant transportation added to the game it makes all the zone loading more bearable as I move about and enjoy the content. The mentor system rocks and more higher level players should take advantage of it especially to farm AA points. This game innovated almost everything other games use to keep players entertained. Collections, Alternate Advancement, Appearence tab, titles, "epic" weapons, and the list goes on. I love the revamp they have done for the EQ2X starter gear quests and am really impressed with what will be coming with the new expansion. This game still has a ton of life, especially on the F2P server.

I am enjoying my stay in this game more than WoW, AoC, Aion, Warhammer & FF14. The only game that has more allure in the current market is Eve Online, but playing that game requires so much time and investment to really get the full experience of it, even though I miss it I cannot afford that amount of time. EQ2X is where it is, with a steady inflow of new players and a huge amount of innovative content and class/race smorgusboard you cant find a better MMO.

You apparently missed the hundreds of deleted threads EA was trimming off thier forums of the those who complained about the graphical bug. I have nothing to be cocky about, your 99% of players is unfounded and a cocky rebuttle. I was far from alone, majority of players at the time I started this post who were running HD rigs at 1080 couldn't play the game due to a graphical bug that caused the game to crash. I was lucky I actually kept making it into the game but once I started any race or pursuit It would crash. Most didn't even make it to the garage.

Yea prior to feburary 2011 everything was fine, they did a large patch update and for over a month many high end gamers were unable to play due to a known bug involving high end systems attempting to render in high def. They fixed it around april finally. But now they are enfocing a choke on non RMT players during high traffic without queues. So this game is still very unplayable for the most part.

Sad, I had higher expectations for this game.

Tried to login today after the latest patch, and got a login error stating the servers are under high traffic and only Micro Transaction Users are getting priority. This is a lie as you get kicked after the error prompt. There is no queue there is nothing about priority, if you havent purchased from their cash shop you can't login.

This after they finally fixed thier resolution bug that made the game unplayable for anyone using a high end graphics card. They took months to fix that bug and now they do this. I am done with EA/NFSW.

I have been a subscriber to every major MMO on the market past and present and also a user of F2P models and cash shops for around decade and a half, and this game has been the utter worst dissapointment in all my gaming history. My word of advise is to avoid this game like the PLAGUE.

Running a top end gaming rig and the game constantly crashes after a few minutes of play. No updates have corrected this issue and it is definetly rampant if you read thier forums. Shameful, really love the series and had hopped better. It is mired by countless other issues, but stability issues on a game not in beta/alpha is unnacceptable.

Don't waste your time, or you'll just be left dissapointed and aggravated like me.

Final fantasy 14, Most advanced graphics for an MMO since they are based on FF13 engine. Easier than FF11 but not as easy as WoW. Great features, Extensive crafting, parties of up to 15 normally, teleporting for everyone to ease that constant running to point a-b feeling.

If your a pvp centric player, no game I have played and I have played alot will giive you an in the face pvp smash like WAR does. It is in my opinion the best pvp game that involves an avatar, otherwise I say Eve online. I currently am not playing WAR so you can feel free to jugde my opinion accordingly as non fanboi.

Man I remeber when in Vanilla EQ that there were walls that were illusions that you would have to learn where they were to access area's of importance. Man that was serious easter eggs. Great grinding on luclin thanks to those easter eggs.
