Originally posted by bluefunk Buddy keys allow you to leave Tortage and see the game, the official trial does not.
Keys sent to Ganjabaker and Lucrecia. Check your PMs.
@Yutty Trials are only good for new accounts, can't add 'em to existing accounts. I sent you a key in case you'd like to start over and see what's past Tortage. |

A new round of massive nerfs may be coming.

I've long been a fan of DDO, but so far after the WB takeover, everything seems to be going down instead of up. |

Originally posted by bezado I doubt he's the OP, since I was going to say basically the same thing he did. I'd rather ask other gamers than rely on edited videos and reviewers who may or may not be paid to say nice things. Forum rules also say not to be an ass to people. Might wanna give that a shot. |

Portable Gaming Devices, I need some advice.
Console Gaming « General Discussion 5/30/10 4:46:23 PM
They're both great for on the go. And you never have to buy any games for either of them ( both can be firmware hacked without voiding the warranty ). DS has more game variety, PSP has better graphics. Both are internet capable, both have browsers ( the PSP is ahead in that ), both can be used as ebook readers, music/movie players, and more. As far as RPGs, the DS is way ahead of PSP as far as titles. |

At any rate, it wouldn't surprise me now if XIII killed the series. First, one of their own devs stated befor release that FFXIII wasn't an RPG, which kinda slapped people in the face. Turned out he was basically right. Then you had Square-Enix responding to people upset by the linear nature and particularly the lack of interactable towns instead of shops-in-a-savepoint by stating making high definiton textures for towns was too much for any dev to do with current restraints, while forgetting that the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, who left SE to form his own company because he didn't like the direction they were taking FF, had already shown them to either be liars or incompetent by releasing his game Lost Odyssey. Lost Odyssey, by the way, was more like FF than FFXIII ever would be. Which shows he was the real brains behind the series the whole tme. SE fucked up when they drove him off. |

Based on the title, I expected this would be a thread with some old geezer complaining about high insurance rates. Instead I just find whine and QQ. |

Originally posted by negentropy Actually, I had a genuine desire to see some of your work as you seem so confident in its value I was sure I may find some of it to my liking. I would have refrained from mixing your projected persona into my critique of your writing, as I have met people who are even bigger assholes than you who have a particular gift with the written word. By the way, at 37 years old, I hardly qualify as a "snot-nosed brat", as I'm sure many here don't. If you make such assumptions with your literary prose as you seemingly do here in an informal environment, then perhaps your writings would not be worthy of my time after all. Good day, sir. |

Originally posted by negentropy I'd be interested in reading some of your work. Perhaps you could give a few references to peruse? |
