Its simple reason this site is a place for fans of MMORPGs to gather and discuss the latest mmorpg stylr games. It is not limiting itself to JUST MMORPGs it also branches out to bring to our attention games which are similar to the mold.

By this I mean games which we the mMORPG community will find of interest. Mechwarrior Online and World of Tanks are such games though they are not in themselves MMORPGS they do share certain characteristics. Such as a large online pool of players, the games being driven and played over the internet with character/vehicle development over time.

Simply put MechWarrior online has a foum here because WE the community want it here.

Let it go bro. If they didn't have the recognition from the "mmorpg.com" domain, they would have changed the name of the site long ago to "everycrapgameunderthesun.com".

I expect soon they'll have all games on Steam and Origin listed as well, because after all they require you to be online even if the games are singleplayer.

Now let's do the math: 379 in March, 251 now. That's -128 people. I consider that a "mass layoff".

No specific number given for how many applicants were 38 Studios employees, but Turbine states they held the job fair in R.I. specifically because of 38 Studios employees being in need.

They had to make good on fraudulant check so they paid it by not paying the employees.

A controller will never out perform a M&K.

This is why  online games that support both console and PC don't put them on the same server.

In PvE, no prob. In PvP, a skilled controller user will get roflstomped by a lower skilled m & k user.
