ya, it doesnt look very good considering the game hasnt gone live yet and theyre rushing patches out on the day of release.  Id expect a couple patches on the server side for server stress etc.  but these are client side patches which says theyre pushing things to you guys you should have had to prepare you for today.. the day the game was suppose to go live.

Maybe they're just unlocking player housing/tons of new skills/local banking?

Unless I have someone on top of the hill to try to knock down what's the point? You may be happy to take your place at the top along with the other 250k "Chewcrappa's" and bathe in the light of mediocrity. I and many others don't, and since most of the gamers have come to MMORPGs post WoW they haven't tried this way. So why not be open to give it a shot? You will find that the struggle to take out that twat that lords his good fortune or hard work over others is extremely entertaining on its own, more so than, endless PVE grinding. If you and some buddys ever do take him out (I did as a BH in pre-cu SWG quite often) then that is far more satisfying than getting to lvl 80 in any random PVE grind level based turd. Then you get to lord it over him and bring his ego back down to size.

For all this you need a community which in the post WoW era consists of mental midgets throwing verbal excrement at eachother. I suggest only, you open yourselves to walking another path! Shocking idea I know, especially in the post WoW era!

MMORPG Admin can break his or her rules anytime they want, it's their website.  Also, as someone else pointed out, what web admin would be dumb enough to miss out on Darkfall's heavy traffic?

WTF?  How dare you posters call looting items from a player corpse a bad thing.  You guys are all missing the point where in Darkfall, the whole game doesn't revolve around equipment, if anything, that is the least thing it concentrates on.  Go read. 

EDIT:  Pay no attention to my post.  I don't want a bunch of WoW kids in my Darkfall anyway.

This kind of blaming the customers is actually very common in all industries, not just MMO's. Companies produce shit and then think customers are dumb/ignorant when they don't buy the product.

AoC was not a failure because it gave us something awesome and we were not ready for it. AoC was a failure because.. well, read the 1000+ posts about this topic.

He didn't say, nor did I, that AoC was a failure.  I like it.  I play it.  The new combat is great in my opinion.  Some people do in-fact like the game and others don't.  That's all I got out of his post (seems like staffers here are deleting our posts) so I guess we can just drop it.
