I have to say that L2 is having some technical problems since F2P but its a great game. If you dont like it, just leave it.

I have netbook Hp Mini (I know, not the best gaming pc xD) and I want to have any RTS game. I have another PC that is better, but for work and study, I use more the netbook, so I need a game for it :D

It doesnt need to have amazing graphics, huge maps lot of units, etc... just nice development and a game where you must use strategy. For example, AoE (not amazing graphics but still one of the best strategy games ever, or Starcraft)

But here comes the problem, this netbook doesnt have AGP activated. Some games work, like SC or Rise of Nations, even Lineage 2 GoD, but I cant run others like AoE.

So, if you know a game, that can be played without this AGP requirement, would be great!

about that, I just dont know what game is better, CoD MW3 or Battlefield 3

Just some little things I know about Cod is that it just have some new weaps, diferent maps, but still small, and graphics are almost the same than CoD MW2.

About B3, that have amazing graphics, and huge maps. But very complicated because you have a lot of "things" to do, like use veicles, tanks, etc... (that could be bad for someone who doesnt like complete games, or coulb be great 4 someone who likes a real combat game ) :P

Anyway, as you said that you are a CoD fan, maybe you can give me your opinion

You wont be alone, L2 isnt a solo mmorpg and now that is F2P and with GoD update, it has become a great game...

Yea, its free and you shouldnt have a lot of problems with the cration. Lets say the validation is the important thing.
If it still not working, and you cant log, maybe its a FW problem or host file.

With f2p and GoD, l2 will be one of the most played games. And even if it doesnt have lot of players, graphics, sounds and gameplay are the bests.

I have some years of L2 exp :P but I need to know something about Summons/servitors.

Im WS (Dwarves ftw). when I summon Mech. Golem I can see that there are 3 locked spots near my mech. golem place. Like as I can summon multiple sevitors. I saw something like that on a trailer, a summoner, but not sure if this is a fact with dwarves, and even if you can summon multiple servitors, that means, for example, in siege, summoning 3 siege weapons? xD that would be great but very hard to control xD

The plus of this class is that you can actually mass farm on a Dwarf, i.e. get a couple lowlevel mobs and kill them all with polearm area effects. I think they already answered you question, there is nothing important to say... BUT

I have to defend the dwarves :P
They are a great race, and WS is, imho, a very nice class. You have an important place in sieges and crafting. yea its a bit bored, when you have to craft lot of low lvl items, but believe me, when you craft you first S+ weapon or armor, or when you craft a foundation item, thats a great feeling :P

And its true that they have now new skills for PvP and PvE that introduce dwarves in the action world :P
None can say that dwarves are bad in pvp, couse their stun and high HP make them just a kind of mid-tank xD

Well, Im not trying to change the topic, but its necesary to say as you asked some info abour crafting, that characters CANT add a WARSMITH sublcass to his mai nchar. Lets say crafters can only be played as main characters.

Err ... what ? This is not a sandbox. You cant change ANYTHING about the game, except conquer castles.
 
 

A sandbox is a game where the player makes the game. Lineage 2 is a fixed gameworld where you cant change squat about it. And it has quests, even if not very good ones.
With your definition, Vanguard would be a sandbox, too. In fact its MORE of a sandbox as Lineage 2, because you can actually build a house or a guild hall in Vanguard.
You can just trade in a themepark as well. No game developer can FORCE you to level up, and why would they want to. Having an economy is pretty much standard in MMOs.

Actually, it is a sandbox game. It doesn't come out and "say that" but the entire thrust of the game play depends upon the players. You want to run a clan and support an alliance? You can. you want to create an empire? You can (or try at least). You want to terrorize a town and extort money from players? You can. You want to be a dedicated crafter and work the market? You can. Raid? you can. War on your fellow man? You can.
What you can change is the political landscape. This is a game about war. You want to make back room deals to overthrow a castle holding clan/alliance? You can. You want to just get peeps and work on leveling or work on getting mats to craft something? You can.
It's your choice. It's not a "run, do quest/rinse repeat and then go to cap and raid" game.
Not yet anyway.

Agree w/ this, you are right man, for all those ppl who think that in l2 you must follow a way, thats not true. you can live happy in l2 selling/buying and crafting as a dwarf, or killing/pvp, working as mercenary in territory wars or sieges, join clan ally etc...

As some ppl said before, create an acc couse its free :P
And even if you havent enough time to play, you will advance and you will find always a party, siege, RB, or Pvp for your char :D

L2 is a great game, obviously its nice to be high lvl, but there is "fun" always ;)

I just cant understand the 4th class, in every video I see a dwarven "mage" or bishop whatever it is.. maybe its becaouse is a sub class, but Im not sure. Dwarves have the warrior 4th class if Im not wrong... and If Im xD plz explain me couse even for someone who has played l2 for some years, its a weird thing...

L2 is the best

LOTRO is a good game, but there is just one thing that doesnt let me play it, you must move your char to the direccion of the enemy to attack him.... isnt like games like Lineage 2 or WoW, where your char attacks directly....

Well, for that reason, I dont play LOTRO anymore xD

Well I think its the same thing if yo uopen in one lcd two L2, when you are playing in one window, the other runs laggy and slowly (until you open it or click it). So you can have both L2 running but as I know, always one of them will lagg a bit.
