What the hell did he do to get it delivered already?

I'm among the affected ones.

Why?

Because I ordered from Amazon.

Now, here is the catch. I live in Costa Rica.

The only way we get internet stuff delivered here is through a third party company that recieves the packages in USA and then, sends them by plane to Costa Rica.

So! Let's supposed that by Dec 20th, every single box will reach it's destination in the US.

But the 20th is a tuesday. They will ship packages to Costa Rica only on Mon, Wed and Fry. Now, by this time of the year, it would take a miracle for my package to be sent to Costa Rica the next day it arrieves, because they have such a stupid ammount of incoming packages, that most likely, it will ship to Costa Rica on monday  the 26th.

By the time the plane gets here, customs will most likely be closed. So, now Tuesday 27th will be the day they start proccessing the packages. Do I get the game on Tuesday the 27th? NOOOOOOO!!!! Because they now have to move all the packages to their main storage, where the shipping company has to sort out the hundres of packages they have just recieved.

So, with another giant miracle, they will deliver my box on friday the 30th.... ASSUMING they will work new year's eve...

So, you see where I'm getting?

That 10 day grace period was just the fair thing to do.

Now, i'm just F*CKED

If I pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic but don’t purchase or obtain the full version of the Game, may I continue to play past the Early Game Access period?

The Game officially launches on December 20th, 2011 at 12:01AM EST (Pacific: December 19th, 9:01PM PST; European: December 20th, 05:01AM GMT, 06:01AM CET). There will be no ‘grace period’ post launch in which those who are in Early Game Access will be able to continue to play the Game without completing the following required steps for launch:

1. Fill out your contact information
2. Set up minimum 3 - maximum 5 security questions to protect your SWTOR account
3. Redeem a Product Registration Code (This is different from your Pre-Order Code. Your Product Registration Code is the code tied to the official Game.)
4. Sign up for a recurring subscription or enter a Pre-Paid Game Time Code

You will have the option of completing these steps during the Early Game Access period so that you are ready to play upon the Game’s official launch.

I'm screwed big time, cause my boxes have to get all the way to Costa Rica, and by those days (Dec 20+-) customs are going to be so overloaded, i can easy sit and wait for the game 1 or 2 weeks before i get it delivered to my house.

I just checked my pre order at Amazon, and looks all good.

I haven't studied closely each tree for each class, but the general question is about the shared tree in every class.

I'm going to play a Sith Assassin for this beta weekend and save the Trooper for the game launch.

Anyway, I can tell that the first two trees are like very roll specific. As in Darkness tree is for tanking, Deception tree is for melee dps, but I just can't make out the shared tree Madness. It seems like a crazy hybrid tree... or is it more like a pvp tree?

I really don't pvp in mmos. This game might be the first one I do so since PvP matters in the game, it;'s not just a gankfest with rewards.

So! Summarizing:

What is the shared tree for?

And just how viable are full tree specs? In this case like using all 37 talent points in Madness and the other 4 in whatever.

Don't mind that error message, it doesn't seem to have any relationship to the error you're actually getting.

Set up your security questions, save 'em and keep opening the launcher til you get asked one. Once you input a correct answer it should work fine.

I've seen this one come up on the tester forums, and the fix above seems to work for most people.

 

Yes, I had set up my sec questions a couple of weeks ago.

I closed and reopened the launcher a few times, and eventually it asked me a sec question, and everything worked normal. Thanks.

Lol i detect an epic fail, Why didn't you just backspace out your email, Rather than getting old mspaint to 'white it out' lol?

Because the error message would desplay for about 2 secs after I try to log in and then it dissapeared. So, i had to take a SS right at that moment.

I don't understand the intention of this "talent system".

Anyone has any idea of the actual dimensions of the CE Box?

As in length, width and height? And weight?

Cause Amazon says that the CE Box only weights 6.4 ounces. And has no dimensions of the box.

I need the info to calculate the shipping and handling to my country.

Any help is apreciated.

I have no troubles at all while playing online. Even multiplayer FPS.

But the big ass downloads are a pain.

I hope they open the downloads early on wednesday so that I have a good chance of finishing the download before the betaweekend starts = S

I'm actually glad AC switching is off the table at launch.

This is the first run for most players on the game.

We've had tons of info, videos, and ~TIME~ to figure out what we want to play and why.

And as someone else said, it makes a little too trivial to have to choose one while leveling.

So, i'll just /sit and enjoy the game a little more = )
