How would you compare it to say, WoW's combat? How difficult is the game, b/c the vids make pve seem easy, does this change later? In PVE do you "move on" to different zones after out leveling it, or are the difficulty of monsters quests kind of spread out so that old areas are worth going back to? Do you think this game will quell some of the general forums crying for this type of MMO?

Are they thinking of some sort of manual attack option, here you have to click each time to swing. Is the combat at least a little bit more engaging then Eve's soul crushingly dull zerg-target paint fest? How does one use strategy in skill combos, don't you already just memorize the correct combos that are the best for a certain enemy? Or do you need to constantly need to change tactics based on what the enemy does such as countering attacks/buffs/defenses etc.

Yup, that's right. Pigs and cows. (Acessorily, i made the videos linked by OP, so ask away!)

Hows the combat?

Now is says it's an "Indipendent" company. But what I mean is it's a AAA mmo b/c it has experienced people behind it and is rumored to have a fairly large budget. So hopefully this won't be another MO.

Trailer seems legit:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12_WbBLIAus

Although i've seen this crap time and time again, so i'm sceptical .-__-

Dynamic economy- IE you can destroy a sawmail, so there are less arrows which require wood and they have to get them from caravans. So then you ambush the caravans etc. Presumably this will work like the Fable 2 economy where you can play the market.

More Realistic NPC's-New unscripted events, like if you drop a sword someone may give it back to you or 2 people may fight over who keeps it. Camera doesn't do that awkward zoom in thing when you talk. You can kill a shop keeper and then his wife will take it over. She might hate you but give you the quest out of resentment, try to kill you, or send hitmen after you.

Radiant Story-The quest acts as a template with variables moved around based on what you've done. It may look for who likes you the most in x city and make him the quest giver, then the person that has a low disposition and make him the quest villan. Then shift around the reward, location, etc. based on similar things. It's smart enough to tailor it to your playstile, so if your a mage you'll fight different enimies, and the objective will take place in a dungeon you haven't been to etc. There are even some entirely randomly generated quests from radiant story so the game never ends.

More dynamic environment- Many more types of weather. Animal behavior/migration patterns etc. much more realistic then in Oblivion.

Random events-ALA fallout.

New faction system-No details, but it's different then guilds

Jobs-6 jobs. These are basically crafting and can effect the economy. These include smithing, cooking, armorcraft etc. and can only be done at wherever the thing is in town. IE you have to go to the smith shop to make weapons at a station.

Hirelings-Can give orders, have different abilaties etc.

New skills system-Each skill has a perk tree with ten perks for a total of 180 perks, attributes replaced with just being able to increase magika/strength/health. Overall because of perks much deeper skills system.

New Combat-Duel wield swords/spells. Combine spells to make epic mega spells, sheild bashing. More advanced stealth system.

Marriage

Drunken bar brawls minigame

treasure maps

Dragon Shouts and dragons-Learn dragon shouts by taking the sould of dragons and do things like call in a storm that will reighn lightning from the sky, slow down time etc.

Invintory system-Items 3d so you can view items in detail by turning it around and stuff, map not a map but a birds eye view of the entire game, and you can zoom in and examine in detail and stuff.

Less samey-Dungeons varied ,not uniform like Oblivion. They have 8 dungeon creators not just 1. Each city has a very distinct feel where as Oblivion it could feel samey sometimes. This is because each city has a designated artist who has been working on it for 2 years. No more unrealistic 2 building small towns like FO3 or sometimes in Oblivion. Every settlement has at least ten buildings.

Is there anything i'm missing?

You know what I want, an mmo with an actual I win button that everyone has. PVP would be interesting to watch.

A good sign b/c it means they are confident in the game. :)

False, the difference between this game and the others is that it has a huge budget with experienced developers not some little indie game like all the rest.

Hey shush

Uh, you ever been in a heavy k-hole? I'd say it rivals DMT's insanity.

Which is crazier??

When I was a kid I would see movies where stuff would pop out at you and you would try to touch them b/c they looked so real and as if they where right in front of you, now it's just like a foreground and a background. Why is this?

Jeese haters gonna hate. Ones that miracle patch comes in March it will fix everything! You guys are just QQ the game is great!

Well, of course they are going to try to minimize lag before then. What was he going to say? "Nope, where not doing a thing about lag before TW."

TW starts next month.  I doubt we will have fluid performance by then.

I was sad to see it seems there won't be more penalties for criminals. It seems to be doomed to the fate of DF as a gankfest. Otherwise fairly vague answers about things, but worth a look.

What if you didn't have to play them but you just get a slight boost if you do well in the mini-game.
