I'm sorry were you implying waiting a few seconds for a mob to start an attack, moving behind it to pummel it senseless, is more challening in some way than hitting tab, 1, 1, 2, 3?

Cus eh after watching high level PVP and PVE and playing myself up to level 10, I can say it seems this pattern repeats throughout the game, with only a few monsters having abilities that force you to change your tactics.

Seems rather simplistic.  Almost  like dancing.

Ah I thought it'd be wonderful, but after playing an hour I think I may have carpel tunnel syndrome already...

I think its either buy a controller to play this game or skip it tbh.

I don't think you read the OP.   He was comparing SWToR and TERA and saying how similar the games were, nothing about his post made me think hes saying "TERA's awesome"

Also, I've heard TERA's 1-60 flys by rather quickly, since the westernization cut down level time and they've added quests since release.

Ironic, they said they had plans on making more chairs sittable...

So your one main straw that broke that cammel's back they're addressing...

not as a sorc healer, you can life tap yourself and heal yourself for healing medals...

Curious, I see in your sig you're interested in 40k MMO, but that is literally another WoW-Clone according to their lead Developer that it's a "goal" of theirs to copy WoW as much as possible, but with a WAR 40k "skin".

 

What made you interested in TERA to begin with if you are interested in the 40k MMO?

Yeah because Tera bears no resemblance to WOW right?

Quite the reverse is true.

Cata introduces LFR (looking for raid) so now everyone can experience the content.

They made the dungeons in LFG give you a 15% buff to all your stats so you can do the heroics easier.

They made it so more CC can effect more things longer easier and not start combat when you CCed things, you can now sheep things without it starting combat for instance.

And these are just a few of the things they did in Cata to make it so EVERYONE could enjoy their game.

UNLIKE BC, where only 3%ish of their top players managed to down Sunwell at all?

Agreed, I think I'll use your method of replacing "gay" with "woman" next time someone uses the "don't shove it down my throat" agrument. Its quite effective.

They said early on in development that choices you make will have long term effects.

Then later on they recanted saying that they didn't like gameplay choices that made you feel stuck that you couldn't take back later. 

Thats why they went with dark side and light side not having much difference...   Only cosmetic and thats it...

Because the servers are on the same "physical server"  They've  explained this multiple times...

Thats why when the game launched and everyone was in the starter zones (on early access it was reading as HEAVY LOAD) with even less than 110 people in the starter zones...    with no one else in any other part of the game yet, what does this tell us?

Its more stress on the server when there are more people in the same area.  Its a well known fact. 

Sever load is calculated by the number of players taking up the servers' actual load.

In other words, say 1000 people are in the starter zone, that means the server is offically "full" and no one can log on.

Say there are 45 people in each zone of the game, game will read as "light" and let people log in.

Load is determaned by how much stress is being put on the server, more people in the same areas = more server load.

So yeah your population guesses are completely unrelated to the server load that you see... 

Its like comparing how long a traffic jam will take to clear up by how many cars are involved in it... you aren't factoring in things like how many lanes of traffic, where the traffic is headed, what kind of cars they have etc...

You are only using a tiny part of the data....
