If Best Buy is your only close store, preorder from them and pick it up on release day. Best Buy gets all their new stuff on Tuesdays anyway.

Priest are not to be played as only healers, but I will admit they are not much else. Priests have some offensive capabilities that become better (obviously) at higher levels. The Shadow Talents and shadow spells can be quite effective.

Parties will do better with a Priest as a full time healer leaving others to deal with combat. Having another class as a part time healer will be a waste of a party member.

Perhaps I can assist clarifying.

Fileplanet has a limited number of accounts to give away. Which is a part of the total number of accounts available as per Blizzard.
So if Blizzard makes 100,000 (a number used for example only) accounts available, Fileplanet might have up to 30,000 set aside for their subscribers leaving the balance of the 100,000 accounts for Blizzard to give away as OB/ST accounts.

I am quite pleased to hear that Blizzard has made an official release date. Even though it is at a very bad time for me. I have to prepare Thanksgiving dinner so I will have very little time to play before I leave on vacation. But anyhow, I can hardly wait.::::01::

Now please excuse me while I do my happy dance.

Crafting in WoW is easy... perhaps a little too easy. A failed attempt will not cost you anything, not even the materials you were using. A failed crafting attempt should cost you at least some, if not all, of the materials used in the recipe.

Into every life a little rain must fall.

Unless there is some sort of psycholgy test sorting and keeping the "morons" from playing, we non-moronic gamers will just have to cope.

I feel that Blizzard should wipe all characters before the final release. Carrying over characters from Beta is a bad idea, even with a level cap. Those who play a character carried over will have an advantage over those not lucky enough to play in the open beta. It could also put a negative spin on the economy of the game. Those who play in the open beta will be able to equipt lower level friends with better stuff and leave the possibility of low level, over equipt characters PKing (wouldn't be penalized under the Honor system).

I like the cartoony graphics. I am not a huge fan of graphics for fantasy games that are too realistic. If I wanted realism, I'd go outside.

Eh?

Put in disc 2.

J/k... I do not know what to tell you. I've been downloading since 2pm EST and I'm only 93% done with the download.

While the $4.95 will not break my bank by any means, I will not pay FP to play a week early for Beta. I would pay Blizzard $100.00 additional to the CE price I've already paid to play a fully complete retail WoW now.

After "torrent"ing the WoW Euro Beta, how am I supposed to "convert" it to North America?

What is the server list for USA?

I would like my wife to play WoW but I cannot find a way to get her to try. Any suggestions to get her to play would be appreciated.

My first thought would be to uninstall the NVidia drivers you have, reboot, then goto Window's Update page and use whatever drivers you can get from Window's Update page. I've used more recent drivers and had video problems not because of the game but because of Windows.

I just hope I don't come across a toll bridge into a new area that I'll need to pay with real money.

This game is well worth the price of admission as of now.

This is a good game for those who are not into PvP. This game doesn't fit the standard MMORPG mould. I like it for it's simplicity, but will not forego playing WoW for this. Maybe I'll play both. (Just don't tell my wife.) ::::01::

From what I've seen, the world is huge. I also found an explorable area. But I also haven't ventured out far from Lion's Gate.

I am not sure I like the whole secondary class thing. I understand that it opens up alot of different combinations for your character, but it seems like your secondary class is limited in usefullness by your primary class. A Warrior/Monk is a great combo. Warrior/Ranger... not so much. I could be wrong... I usually am.

I preordered my copy of the CE and will be sitting on EBGames' doorstep on release day. This is the first game I've ever preordered so I cannot offer any new insights to shippments, delivery times and the such.

I'll try all the classes eventually, but I'll start off with an Undead Priest.

Thanks for the info. I am very excited about WoW OB. I've already got my copy of the Collector's Edition on order and am anxious for WoW to be live, large and in charge!

I will be trying out Guild Wars for the 3 free days too.

Still funny. It could use a female Night Elf dancing to some stripper type music.

And if I remember correctly, the Troll dancing style is a Brazillian form of martial arts that's supposed to look like dancing.
