World PvP is going to suck in SWTOR, to many SITH, this is worse then I have even seen in any game so far.

I like to lose. There is nothing more fun and thrilling for me to run with a well oiled group into a zerg and take down as many as we can, maybe even win even though the odds are stacked against us. So the imbalance does not really pose a problem to me. I like to PvP whatever I win or lose. You still doing the same anyway in the game right? You press the same buttons, you use the same attacks and tactics. The only thing that changes is that you lose instead of win at the end. |

Playing it with a bunch of friends and it's actually rather cool game. Even managed to play with the GM's on the live stream, was a blast. The story in itself does not really have extreame good items. The items store are already partially upgrade, but you rent them. You can buy upgrade with real money (well tokens) as well however in the end you do not have to invest money. While a fully upgrade item helps (15% damage, 15-20% less damage taken) it does not have to make or break a match because there is still a supprisingly amount of tactic and skill you can apply. Beside that after a week your own items have been upgrade as well, though you can lose the items in the upgrade proces. It could be a fun game to play with your kids as well. Playing with a 8 years old (little brother of one of my friends) and he is actually rather good at it, even though he almost has to twist and break his finger to be able to touch all the keys. He really enjoys the game. |

Watching Live Streams...everybody is skipping the story

Anyhow prolly read the story before. It is replayable as an alt and get a partial new story line. Reading or listning to a story you already know might be boring. Maybe you replies would be different depending if you wanna get in some role. In fact if they are skipping the storyline because they already know it, then that in itself is proof of the replayability is it not? Clearly he is replaying it already! |

First wave complete - server pops all low/few medium. This could be major fail.

It actually dumb to do because a server is not created for such a influx of players in one zone. |

Originally posted by Hyanmen This does not make sense to me at all. So keeping it running for a negligible amount of people for free does not make sence, but letting a negligible amount of people pay is wise? Knowing some if not most of the already negligible people will leave the game as well? I think just closing the game is a better solution for the time being untill there ready to release something that is good and right and do the reboot and hope they can restore consumer faith. |

Originally posted by nekrothing I am sure square-enix has enough money to make this game work BEFORE asking for money. Originally posted by Hyanmen Whether its a beta or not is up for interpretation once again. SE doesn't treat it as one, and you may think it is one and in that case you don't have to participate. Some people don't think of it as beta, and are willing to pay, and their opinion is not wrong. Only those who don't think of it as a beta should be the ones paying, and it's not like SE could affect that decision in any way. In the end the customer agrees to pay and it is up to him and her entirely. How does it matter how you call it? It still the same game and content and there is no interpretation to that. It's the same for everyone regardless the name your giving it. Does that mean the person paying for it is wrong, well clearly not, but whatever you call it a beta or not an pay for it. The message to SE would be the same. |

Buh? Pointing out that one of the main devs at EA uses the Me Gusta face got nowhere" Originally posted by Hopscotch73 from http://www.swtor.com/info/faq#170979 "it is not our policy to prevent customers from playing a single-player game. That is just the dumbest thing I have ever heared. If someone acts like an idiots on the forums, maybe yes he should be flagged and an extra eye should be kept on them by moderators in a game, but to completly ban your consumers (You know those folks that PAY for your games) for simple violations on a forum? That is just a stupid way of running your company and you will lose income because of this. |

You do not even need others to roleplay, you can easily enjoy that on your own. In fact as a roleplayer you really do not need a lot. You do not need to hurry though the content just because some dude tells you that. Plenty of guilds in every game to suit every player. I remember being an undead on a RP server on WoW who kinda was lazy, like a why run when you can walk altitude (I think my character was much like Richard in the LFG comics and that was waaaay before those comics) and I almost always walked everywhere and as a player simply took the time to enjoy the surrounding. On Face of Mankind I often took some nice long walks in Manhattan, talking to random people and discussed the finer points of life in that world, debated politics and talk about recent events and wars....or got shot and called in the army. |
