If you do not want to lose your "hard worked" equipment, well then do not die. Beside that if you play the game you suppose to play it then you should get as much loot from PvP as you would lose from PvP. Also why do you think you lose hard worked loot? How come you think you have to work hard for it? Work and games are two terms with should not be used together, if you feel like you are working for you equipment then you really need to pick an other game. |

You migth want to get into PHP and databases (MySQL for exemple), becouse with just HTML your not gonna make it and no dev will have any use for you. I suggest you will look for a good book in you native language about PHP and one about databases and study that if you really interested. Not sure if someone can suggest a book for you. |

How can a game focues on PvP be compared with a game with is focused on PvE? It's like comparing an sweet and sour apple. Both are appels, but still do not taste the same. |

Well a lot of reviews are based on a part of the game either the beginning of the game or a part the devs let the reviewer play on special events (This is especialy the case with pre-views). If you really want to write a good review about any game you should have played it from the beginning to the end, but most magazines and website have released there review on the day the game is released. (Treu that they might have recieve the game prior to official release), |

In two weeks you not know how the hell to use your charater, is that not the point to learn then in the proces of "Knowing and mastering" your class? Why would it matter how many skills you have while being in this process? |

Would that not put you in the same position as the few who are calling the others Idiots and kiddies? Bruticus_XI, first of all. Poeple spend a lot of time even in a game like WoW. Hours after hours. Second, the whole community does not think they are elitist. Third, what is fun? I have had most of my fun in an MMO, gaurding a door with you where almost certain that would not be attacked. EDIT: I can even remeber myself a situation in WWII online where I defended a bunker for 2 hours without meeting someone only to be killed by the first german to enter it. I have had fun there. In both cases I talked to poeple on ventrillo and go to know them better. I prefer to play a crappy game with a good community then an awsome game with a crappy community. |

Sandbox MMO games normally require a lot more cooperation between the players. Take Darkfall for one. This game might revolve heavy around politics. This does mean multiply guilds can work together. Also the game will have less members this does mean that someone of the opposite guild/city will most likely know people from the other side and I have experience that these encounter often go with respect. A game like WAR will also have a good community, however one would know and speak a lot with the people he will PvP with, but not with the enemies. There are simply to many of them, also WAR has no politics. This means that one side does not have to talk with the other side to resolve issues. I have Played a game called Face of Mankind and hold high position within the faction I was part of. This game however had a set amount of faction, but no set enemies. In fact it could be that one day you ally would suddenly be you enemy and you enemy you ally. My position involved solving problems with other factions (Meaning, twisting the truth to suit my faction AKA politics :P). Duo to all this, you did actually know a big part of the community (It was REALLY small, smaller then what DF is gonna be) and in fact one time or the other you had fought with them and against them, planned attack with them on ventrillo, etc. It is not that a sandbox makes the good community, but the fact that people will have to communicate with each other to resolve issues. Even with groups considered criminals (Hiring them to attack your enemy for example). This means that being an ass would isolate you from everything and everyone making you an easy target, this would also mean you lack the allies to survive, with in most cases would resolve into them leaving. However many people would agree that without evil, good would not excist. Making a game pretty boring if everyone was just nice to each other :P This often means people tend to not keep a grunge against each other to long. So sandbox = better community. Not per se, but communicating does. So the game with forces to communicate with a lot of people would forge a better community (Sandbox or not). |

I wonder how this will be handled and solved. |
