Heheh... When I played this (kinda a long while ago...) I was given free stuff ALLL the time.. Might have been because I was an actual girl, and I was single and it just so happens all the people giving me things were GUYS.. and didn't know I was an ELEVEN YEAR OLD, but anyways. I was pretty damn well off, and I never spent a cent. (although my erm.. pedo suitors probably did. hehehehe o.o) Ohh, and my name was iViolet or something like that. I don't really remember. xD

Ohh I played a RO2 private server, (it's dead now so don't ask for it) and it was kidna buggy (server owner's fault though I think) other than that it was AWESOMEEEEEE!! Soo cute and fun, and the customization was great >w<

O.o The quests are sh*t, totally boring. I did all of the free quests. There aren't even enough of them, and they never add new ones FAIL. (I haven't really played in a long long time, but I log in occasionally.)

My post wasn't worthless!

I explained that its NOT a beta its totally released, its just limited release!

Also the reason they're doing it this way is because they don't have enough money to simply buy out a crap ton of server space all over the world and let their product go.

I mean I'd love to play DF but I won't wait in line to play it right now, thank you all of you who ARE playing this game because some day maybe I'll be able to get a copy without camping it like its a rare monster, and the money you guys are giving them are allowing them to buy more space to make their product go places!

I'm hopeful for DF, but yeah limited releases suck, but there is nothing they can do about it.

 

 

out of curiousity... what type of server/computer gear is it that you guys think they're having to save up millions, in order to purchase?

i mean, i keep hearing that they to save up to purchase another server.  yet, they're supposedly using their own version of what eve has...

 

 

I believe at this point it's pretty much common knowledge that the Darkfall server is based on "Alien Technology".  The bulk of which has been reverse engineered already by none other than Tasos himself ..... go figure.

 

It seems the "flux capacitor" however requires a 99.9% pure dilithium crystal to operate correctly.  Unfortunately the 99.9%DLC can not be obtained  by earthly means alone.

 

Aventurine and "The Aliens" are in closed negotiations currently.  I have it on good accord Aventurine was willing to come off of (5) Darkfall game accounts for the crystal.  The aliens initial offer was for (10) game accounts however, so I'm expecting somewhere in between.

 

Hopefully an agreement will be reached soon ............
