Originally posted by ghoul31 there is crafting, not just like in other mmorpg's. the developers don't want to have many timesinks, this is also with crafting.
they don't want players to produce 100 useless crap items just to get enough skill to get that one item they really want. if you see an enemy wearing a cool looking helmet and you kill him, you'll get his damaged helmet and you can get the materials for it to repair it. I find it a nice solution, why in the world should i produce hundreds of garbage items that i will never use just to get one specific item? :)

another thing was wen some mantis looking creature flew through the sky, now that's what i call atmosphere in an environment! :) |

darkfall isn't really a game that has a decent reputation, it has been delayed for like what? 3 years already? |

here's the link => www.playtr.com/news/archives/2007/06/in_the_beginnin.html or just go straight to gamespot, there's also the complete article :) |

1st one is also nice with the background 3rd one is a bit too shiny :)

well the game has been delayed until Q4, i think if they start thehype in the last 2 months before release it'll be more effective and to be honest in the last 2 months i've seen several articles of the game on several websites :)

Don't know about all of you, but i've never seen any real evidence that TCOS was going to have gamecards..... that is until now!
the biggest belgian gaming store Game Mania just updated their site and they added TCOS game cards. go to PC(CD/DVD) => Pre-paid cards => TCOS pre paid card. now the distributor is Mindscape, the publisher in Belgium, Netherland and Luxemburg of TCOS, but i guess other publishers might also distribute them. http://212.123.29.37/gamemania.asp? i only find this positive in my opinion it's a small company with a small mmo, so they can use all the extra people in it :) |

ArchLord: Archlord Featured in Belgian Film
News Discussion « General Discussion 6/07/07 12:12:15 PM
the game archlord is but a small part of the movie, it's mostly based on the autistic boy, still it's something nice that they're trying to do, not some Uwe Boll crap....
Also the director made a play about a boy that played Divine Divinity an RPG, was also quite good regarding the story and the influence of the game. the film will be out in belgian cinema in October 2007, but don't think it will go International, maybe the Netherlands since it's the same language but the rest i don't think so. |

it seems pvp is going to get some very nice improvements in the next era, so let's hope a guild wins this era real quick ;)

well the game is quite diffirent to say the least, played it for one day now, and damn you need to think a lot more then in other mmo's
it's a quite daring move imo to do a combination of a client mmo and webbased mmo, but so far i'm enjoying nice people in the guild i'm in and people are quite helpful. but to be honest i think a lot of people won't have the patience or accept the new playstyle in this mmo, but still it's quite nice for the people that like it, i hope the developer gets enough subscribers. ps i just got owned by this guy in the third storyline quest, i thought he was gonna be an easy kill he WTF PWNED my dreamlord http://dreamlords.com/Comic.action?popup=true&num=2 |
